Staff was extremely rude after I pressed "no tip" on my order. I always tip people who make their wage on tips. But I was in the drive through and under the assumption that they are getting paid more than a waitress wage. Please correct me if I'm wrong in that assumption. Regardless I don't think it called for the worker literally throwing my grilled cheese at me.
ordered a chicken wrap today and it was literally drenched and swimming and dripping with the Chipotle mayo sauce. it made the veggies limp and was dripping off my hands. made the wrap gross and soggy. i went to get more napkins, and it was empty. asked the girl for more napkins and told her why and she handed me napkins and said nothing. it's hard to complain anymore for fear of retaliation or being called a Karen but that wrap was almost inedible.
When we ordered our smoothies and spent our $16 at the restaurant we paid with our debit card. The nice worker than came back with what sounded like a scripted response asking us if we wanted to tip 15% or 20% on the card for a tip. We just replied with a no and she nicely said “oh ok. that’s ok.”. Why are drive through customers being asked to tip?
