The wife got an omelette and I got the country fried steak. No fuss small town diner. Tight quarters.

Food was great except the bacon was way under done, the it took 2 more attempts and turned out barely resembling bacon.

Great staff, very welcoming from the moment i walked in and the service was top notch. May be the best diner ive ever been to. Everything tasted fantastic and it was impressively fast! Gauranteed the best breakfast in coldwater.Edit, 10 hrs later, im still thinking about brunch and how fantastic that farmers skillet was!

I came in Sunday morning and ordered a breakfast croissant with ham, cheese and egg. Unfortunately I received a sandwich with no substantial ham in it. Only a few tiny flecks of ham fried into the egg. . . . . About 1/3 the amount of ham you receive at McDonald's or Burger King on their breakfast sandwiches. The coffee was weak and there was a very long wait for food. I don't recommend this place.

The food is good. Staff is generally friendly.•Service is lacking at times.Waite staff spends a lot of time standing behind the counter, chatting loudly with other staff or on their phones. We've been here at tines for 45 mins, enjoying our meal and visiting amongst our table, and have had to ask multiple times for refills on coffee as they weren't offered regularly. They offer card swipe, to pay your bill at the table, but sometimes you are waiting, extended periods of time before staff acknowledges you are ready to pay. There can be minimal people dining in, and there will be tables that haven't been cleared yet or tables that have been cleared but not wiped down.•Some meal prices seem high. However, this is a family owned small business.•Quite small dining area. Can be very crowded.•They offer breakfast and lunch during business hours, regardless of time of day.
