We left the lamp for over a year due to personal reasons. About a month ago we decided to stop back in. We had a drink, ordered an appetizer and hung out. By the end of the night we decided we'd be returning more frequently! Jess is AWESOME! Very attentive! We've been back at least every other weekend to see Jess!

Dave and I chose the Lamp Lighter at random based on ratings and price of food. We were looking for decent bar food in the $10-$20 range. We found it!
The atmosphere was cozy yet spacious, lots of wood like you would see in an old family restaurant and bar of the 80s and 90s. We shared a fish sandwich and the cowboy style loaded beer battered fries. I told Dave I could make myself sick on the food, gorging. It was SO GOOD.
And AND! I asked for a Moscow mule, and the server returned with the hands down best tasting one I've had in QUITE a while. When asked, I was told they had to look it up, which makes this even better, really, because they forged ahead and got it WAY effing right.
Go to the Lamp Lighter next time you're in Cold water, the loaded fries are only $9.95.

We came for some bday drinks and decided to order an app of fish bites. The breading was good but the fish was very rubbery. The waitress did a great job keeping our drinks filled and making specialities.

Waitress failed to bring requested items and seemed like she really didn't want to be at work. A 2nd waitress delivered our meals, which were also disappointing. We've visited before with much better experiences than we encountered tonight.
