We had a great experience dining in for lunch. Thank you!!🙌
This place is great. The owners really care about the community, and give back in many ways. The staff are outstanding and give great service.
Wasn't what it used to be either maybe cause Indiana was better at the buffe the they are idk but wasn't much out on the buffee

Went to Ponderosa this morning was really looking forward to pancakes and bacon on the Sunday brunch. We got there just after they had opened. We were the only people in the restaurant. The food was disappointingly Luke warm to cold and when I asked if I could make a plate and have them warm it up. They wanted to argue with me about temperature rather than just say sure and warm up a plate of food at no time did the waitress come to the table to check on us. After the guy checking the bar rolled his eyes at me we decided just to leave so we paid a very high price for a little slice of orange bread and a scoop of eggs that were fake eggs. Small bit of good customer service could’ve avoided the entire situation Now we will not be back.

I've never been to a ponderosa before now, but now I have, and I think I'll hold these memories for years to come. The macaroni needed some help, but that's okay, most macaroni does. Everyone was so nice, and there was so much food. Usually you can choose the buffet or a meal, but at ponderosa that's not how they do things, you can get a meal AND the buffet. I think I ate three whole potatoes, and a cows worth of meatballs, then they brought out my sandwich with another potatoes worth of fries. I'm so glad I went.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the remodel since our last visit some 4 yrs ago. Food was better. The steak was great. Will definitely stop by the next time we're driving through.

I used to love ponderosa used to go to the one in Kalamazoo n it was great but the one in Coldwater is one of the worst restaurants I think I've ever been to.The buffet food looked nasty as hell there was a little bit of lettuce at the salad bar n I wouldn't have fed that to my rabbits if I had any. Then when they brought out fresh lettuce they put that nasty looking lettuce on top of the fresh. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE
worst buffet i have ever had !!!!!!!!!! Not even close to the way ponderosa use to be! food was lacking taste , flavor and not fresh at all! wasted over $60 on 3 people . save yourself the hassle and goto a Golden Corral or Das dutchman essenhaus .

Worse buffet i have ever had ! Not the same as ponderosa use to be! Wasted over 60$ , food old ,bland, gross and not well stocked. maybe it was just a bad day for them but it was a complete waste for us. Will not be going back ever.

When we got there the place was busy, still was seated immediately. We were designated a waitress, but they never checked on us, we were almost done with our meal. We stopped a young waitress named Lexi, she wasn’t our waitress, but she was in shock we weren’t taken care of and immediately got us drinks cleaned off the dirty dishes and constantly checked on us and our kids. The kids ran up to her and gave her a big hug, thanking her for getting them something to drink. Lexi is the best Ponderosa has, so if you go in ask for Lexi and get ready to have the best service given.

We thought all of the Ponderosa's were closed, so when we discovered this one was still operating we made a pilgrimage to relive childhood memories.
Inflation and covid has not been easy for buffets. The buffet was smaller than we remember, but the food was ok. It was better than some all inclusive resorts we have been lucky enough to visit.
The big disappointment was the use of normal plates. We both remember the delightful 'sizzler' plates that entrees would be served on. The shiny metal plate inset on the oval black plastic plate. My wife never got to order entrees, buffet only for her growing up, so she was excited to have the fancy plate for the first time. Seems that progress has ended the use of those plates. Maybe I can find some on eBay.
We will definitely take our kids and allow them to enjoy the joy of all you can eat mashed potatoes and bread pudding and ice cream. It's time that our children learn the important lessons in life- don't fill up on bread, always start with a salad- it balances out the dessert, make sure you wear your stretchy pants, and always remember - we are at ponderosa for lunch that means you should eat enough because mom and dad aren't cooking dinner, so get another plate.
Thank you, I may have teared up a bit walking to the car. We have come so far...

don’t go here unless you are elderly or are in the mood for the most basic food possible. I don’t know who is saying this food was excellent? do you only eat pieces of bark and sticks from trees? so getting real human food is a treat for you? this restaurant has crossed the threshold of being a normal buffet and now should be recategorized as a senior center cafeteria. the only good thing here are the small crispy chicken wings. watch out for watery flavorless mac and cheese, dirty soft serve ice cream that tastes like they add water to the mix. dessert options that are only exciting to people over the age of 65. black mold in the ceiling! lettuce that tastes like actual real life dirt! a perfect meal for all you bark eaters out here. if you want to poison grandma or punish your children, take them here. stop acting like this is a normal restaurant and LET IT BE SENIORS ONLY!!!! put up a gate asking for ID at the door. if you are UNDER 50 you are not allowed in. I should not be allowed to eat this food, it should be preserved for the elderly who need boiled potato’s and mushy green beans more than I do. ?
