Was excited to experience the childhood classic buffet known famously for the Macaroni and cheese..and we got burnt steak, fish sticks, dry macaroni and cheese over oregano chicken pot pie. The salad bar was small but decent. Over all it was a nice drive through Allen Historic community.

Felt like a kid again , ordered chopped steak and it was just like being 10 , the buffet / salad bar is off the hook , everything was well attended and hot , the food was fresh and delicious , in fact I can’t say enough about how great the staff was , this was one of my best experiences dining out in a very long time. I only wish I didn’t live 2 1/2 hrs away , but I’ll be back that I can promise. Thank you for keeping a bit of nostalgia alive and well for me.

I went to ponderosa on 10/27. I arrived just as they were closing. The manager Tim, invited me in anyway. I ordered a cheese burger to go. As I waited for it to be cooked, the manager was awesome and kept checking on me despite them closing Tim encouraged me to stay and eat and it was pleasant. The salad bar was amazing. My waitress Christen provided excellent service. I was so impressed with Tim and Christen I asked Tim for their names and where to leave this review. I will be back to see them!!! Highly recommend!!!

Sloppy Joe's was very salty, tater totes were dry, cut up potatoes weren't baked all the way, they were hard. White gravy was peppery.

Drove many miles for the taste of my youth and this location did not disappoint. Ate like 40 chicken wings. A ribeye. Mashed potatoes and then you know your boy had to end the evening with a trip to the soft serve ice cream machine. Everything was spectacular. The food = Spectacular. The servers buttcheeks = Spectacular. 20/10.

Or waitress Jayden was fabulous!! Bubbly and enjoyed joking around with my friend. Our food was cooked to perfection. We later found out the manager cooked it, the cook had to leave.

We went when they first opened. The ooooonly thing decent was their chicken wings, and the bbq chicken was decent. Not fresh at all but decent. Will not be going back
