Great food, awesome service and a fun crowd! When my husband and son went there on a Thursday, they walked in everyone cheered- it was such a fun experience for them that they brought the rest of us back for Karaoke the next night! Also, Someone from our party left her purse at the bar, and they graciously shipped it to us in Illinois for no charge to us! Super awesome team that runs the place- they really wanted to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves.

This place would not let our bachelorette party of 17 pay separate from each other. They was groups of 2 and 3. The waitress said we could not even check out at the bar separately we had to sit as a group and 1 person pay the whole bill. They were going to add 18% gratuities but I was ok with that. I then stated I would pay and collect from everyone and she left for 20 minutes and came back flustered. She had no idea how to work a large group.

strange place, when we entered, we could not find a single clean table, as if the restaurant was full of customers, but at the same time only 3 tables were occupied and this was at 3pm, if they are not in a hurry to clear the tables from dirty plates, then probably the food will be brought just as slowly. The air conditioner is blowing really hard, this is not a place where I can eat.

I haven’t been there in a long time (20 years give or take) but I read in a previous review that the owner is still Lonna and she is an amazing and kind woman . When I was a kid , I lived right next to the bar and we had to rely on this place to feed us most nights . Ms Lonna was ALWAYS there , with something nice to say and with my regular order of a Shirley temple and curly cheese fries . She’s the heart of this place . I hope she’s doing well .

Nice local small town bar and grill with great food and service
The Bend was a nice change of pace for lunch on the north side of Paw Paw Lake. The pork fritter sandwich tasted great but was a little dry and could have used more tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo. The chili also tasted good but needed to be a little thicker without using crackers. Otherwise, it's a nice spot to stop.
