Service and atmosphere was excellent. We sat on the patio and our server, Sophia, was lovely and attentive. The lady who first greeted and sat was also lovely. The food however, was just fine. It was pricey for what you get. My husband and I shared the wedge salad, which was nice and fresh. He got the spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs were obviously frozen and the sauce tasted like prego. Again, not bad, just fine. I had the crab stuffed mushrooms and they were very creamy and there was little crab to be found, but cooked nicely and not too mushy or oily. Everything was just okay. The martini however, was excellent. They just stick to drinks and cheap bar food.

Were do I start. Read reviews even though they were bad. Figure we would give it a chance. Went all the way back to a sure thing paw paw brewery we were going to go before we came here! Should have walked out when we walked in. Did not know we had to go down a full flight of stairs. Ok walked into the restaurant no one I mean no one.oh wait! Except the employee sleeping across three chairs. As he got up he laughed about it!! So we did sit down very very outdated. Beautiful scenery of lake. This place could be soooo beautiful but it was not. We actually ordered a drink which they were on glasses a little foggy but! We sat for about 1/2 hour and decided we were not going to order. Who knows how long the food was sitting..My daughter started laughing ok you may think I made this up! But! I did not. The same employee that was sleeping on the chairs. Was now sitting in dining room putting on his shoes and socks. Has to be family per my daughter's comment. On the way out I did catch the waitress and told her we would have ordered food if (1) Employee was not sleeping on chairs (2) Employee was not putting on his shoes and socks in dining room (3) There were more customers. Due to the food which may have been sitting for a longer time. The menu which we looked at on our 45minute on our way over looked really interesting. I felt sorry for the waitress! Which I did tell her why we left. Because we are great tippers. Sorry you lost out. We will NOT be back. The employee was the turning point. Turned us right or the door!!! I WOULD CALL GORDON RAMSEY! This place again has a lot of potential. Beautiful location..

Amazing views, food, service, and wonderful experience here at the Waterfront! Very accommodating to large parties, walk-ins, and a great place to lounge by the lake — even if you’d just like to have a drink and stay a while! Very welcoming environment with open choice of seating — shaded, beachside, inside, or bar-side. Family friendly environment. Beach access with space for children to play. Dogs are also welcome in the outdoor patio areas! This location is wheelchair and mobility-aid friendly, the bathroom area has a ramp for accessibility, as well. This is the only boat-accessible restaurant I have ever seen in Michigan! With plenty of doc space to park in straight from the water to dine in or grab a drink to-go. A wide menu selection, seafood, weekly specials, and live music. My personal favorite is the Saganaki! Largest martini menu I have ever seen— and half-off on Thursdays, which is a nice touch! Hospitable staff and professional service. Ray— the live musician “the Breeze,” is incredibly talented—; playing 70s & 80s throwbacks, covers, and keyboard Fridays & Saturdays! He is also very personable and really adds to what makes this place special. Great place to host events or gatherings. Recently moved to the area and had family visiting from out of town and wanted to spend time on the lake. The Waterfront was just the perfect place! Came here with a family of 32. We are all very appreciative of the welcoming and accommodative staff, for taking us in on a birthday reservation. We had a great time and will be back next summer!

The food was very overpriced considering the quality of everything. The chicken and fish were more unseasoned breading than actual meat. The decor is very dated and unwelcoming. Also, it was confusing going through the door. It was a bunch of stairs, and no one said anything to us, I had to walk up to the bar to even be acknowledged, and there were 6 of us. Our server was nice, but the whole experience was very underwhelming.

A waterfront, boat friendly place with outdoor seating and a romantic ambiance. Fourth of July fireworks for the lake community are set off just next to the outdoor seating - pretty cool!

First I’d like to say that our waitress was wonderful. She does need a little more training on some things. I ordered lobster and I could tell they don’t sell much of it. I was only given one tail at first but they did correct that as it said 2 on the menu. Lobster was not done. Wait staff should offer to remove the lobster from the shell for you. This was not done. Finally melted butter should be presented in a warmer to keep it liquid. My husband had the whitefish, flavor good but portion very small. Won’t be back anytime soon.

We went for lunch, we ordered few items was listed in the menu and the waiter come back to apologize they didn't have none of the items (3).
The also a very poor selection and we end getting a bottle beer wish was ok but, this took over 35 minutes to arrived to the table that we was seated in outdoor patio enjoying the beautiful view.
The Margarita drink was ok and sweet.
I ordered fries because of the drink since they didn't have anything we ordered and I was driving over 7 hours and I did need something in my stomach.
Such beautiful place but, such bad service and what to say about the food.
Definitely I will be back to enjoy the outdoors seating and I hope they do have what shows in the menu.

There are not enough customers that frequent this location for the restaurant to be able to turnover their food quickly enough and won’t be fresh.
Ive read where patrons have become ill and it’s due to the above on food turnover over.
Additionally I’ve experienced and have read that the prices are quite high.

Unfortunately for Paw Paw lake this could be a preferred destination as it was at one time on the lake but no longer.
The owner’s need to realize this and make a final decision.

Menu was a bit pricy and the menu on the web site was not the one we were given. Prices had changed and not updated and there were not many choices.. but we ordered beef tip sandwich and fries and a half rack of ribs with a baked potato . My partners meal came out a full ten minutes before my rib meal did and the waitress apologized.. He was half done before I got my meal. He said the sauce was good however it was topped with cheese which was not on the menu and he did not like cheese. He pealed it off. My meal finally arrived.. And although it looked pretty the potato was not a fluffy good baked potato. It was obviously cooked hours before and reheated resulting in a hard old potato. Same with the ribs... Not tender or fresh...chewy and obviously reheated then covered in sauce to hide the fact. It didn't help. Asparagus was on the side which I detest...I was not offered another option and it was tough and stringy according to my partner who attempted to eat it. I asked for a bread basket and was told they didn't do that. We were there for a 14 year anniversary and tried to save the night with a dessert. Only two choices were bread pudding and a chocolate lava cake with ice cream. We chose the lava cake which arrived drowning in syrup with a tiny scoop of ice cream on top. It was ok... Most likely because it was not made there .just heated and served. Don't know if we came on just a bad day or what.... There were only two other people there when we arrived. Our waitress was fine and they were friendly But the meal was so disappointing and at $70 it was a huge let down. This was our first trip here and last.....sad to say as we live close and hoped to find a decent place with Good food to celebrate our anniversary.

We had been on the road for over ten hours and looking for a fun local restaurant that offered a view of the lake. My wife and daughter ordered the grilled chicken with rice and broccoli. The meal appeared as though it was prepared in the microwave. The chicken had fake grill marks and was obviously not grilled. Several hours later my wife and daughter became extremely ill. The sever was very sweet and took good care of us, however, the food was over priced and was well below our expectations!
