We had a fabulous day to view the gardens. Our group was small so Jacob took us on an extended tour. Thank you Jacob! Then we came in and ate a wonderful brunch in the beautiful black barn. It was like having a private chef. Quiche, fennel root and swish salad. Delish. Go. Enjoy. You won't be disappointed
Truly exceptional food, service and vibe. It helped that it was an absolutely stunning day. We ate underneath the pergola, and made flower bouquets after the meal from Fortunate Farms.
Could not be a better day.
Poor choice in meal plan last night

Hidden gem. Please check their website. There are so many options for experiencing Farrand Hall.
Really nice place. Beautiful farm, service is a little mediocre for the level of dining and cuisine. Also they should do small bite appetizers before dinner. I just didn't leave super full.
Lovely place, great concept!! Wonderful service and delicious food. However, I have been to many tasting dinners and have fasted a bit before each---do not fast before this, the portions are so delicious but small. As long as you treat it like a tasting meal, you will be fine. The atmosphere was top notch
Farrand Hall is just SPECTACULAR! James & Jacob are some of the most inspirational visionaries in the Midwest. What they have done within their community is not only creative & extremely admirable, but it IS the American Dream. We have had the most amazing dinners of all time there! The food is always TEN STARS and the vibe is FAMILY. Farrand Hall is such a gem and if you have the opportunity to visit, DO IT!!! I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this extraordinary family empire.
Best food experience in the county! Thanks for all you do!
I purchased tickets for a class that was cancelled due to low ticket sales. I was notified via email about the cancellation but nothing was mentioned about the refund so I assumed it would atomically go back on my card. There is not a business phone number. I have sent multiple emails as well as messages via social media but cannot get a response.
Just book the reservation and let the beautiful gardens, food and humans that run the Hall speak for itself!

Beautiful venue! We came here for a dinner and fell in love with the place. Arriving early, we got to walk around the property and enjoy the chicken and ducks by the pond, flowers, and wooded walking trail. The service was impeccable and I’m looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend.
A very nice and friendly bakery with large scones. Fast service even when they're busy. Worth the drive from Kalamazoo.
Beautiful meal at a communal table with lovely decor and stories
Oh my goodness what a lovely experience. A group of ours bought tickets for a guest chef Saturday dinner (Sarah Rinklage) and were thrilled with the evening. The staff is charming and incredible. The venue is cozy and rustic. Sarah’s menu was fantastic. Looking forward to our next special event at Farrand Hall.
Could be improved: communication. 3 of my 4 emails went unanswered (hence the need for 4 emails) and as first time guests had questions that weren’t entirely answered by the FAQ page. The site says emails will be answered in 24 hours and that was not our experience.
But otherwise, certainly a 5-star experience that we can’t wait to share with other friends, to bring them along for another outing. Well done.
Saturday 9/21/24 - terrible. Entree was 4-5 dry ravioli. Not enough food, not a single memorable dish. I would consider this relatively inexpensive fine dining - it still wasn’t worth it. Don’t go out of your way for this out of the way dining experience.
