The owners are delightful. The food is exceptional. The atmosphere is amazing. I’ve been multiple times and cannot wait to go back. Oh, and I pet a chicken. 10/10
Overpriced food with owners who are not welcoming. If you’re not from Chicago or have money they will not acknowledge you nor greet you even if they are at the door. 0/10
We have attended several meals here a Mother’s Day brunch, meals with the house chef (Ken) and dinners with guest chefs. Service is always excellent and the space is beautiful. The dinners with Ken are some of my favorites. Highly suggest this spot for a special event or fun night out.
Wow! Great atmosphere, great food, and great company! Definitely put on your bucket list!
By far the foodiest destination for the biggest foodies out there. We discovered this gem last year and have been hooked ever since. We just became members for the 2nd straight year. We travel 90 minutes one way to eat here 20-30 times each year. The owners James and Jacob couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve built here at the farm. The vision they had to make dreams become a reality can’t be understated. In a nutshell, they bring in the best chefs from all over the USA to prepare fantastic and unique dishes that are truly one of a kind. You’ll never have the same meal twice at this venue. And if you can’t make it to one of the guest chef series dinners, their executive chef Ken makes fabulous dinners throughout the week. If you’re even thinking about this place then go ahead and just do it already!
A very unique and beautiful venue. Cannot wait to do those again.
We had a fabulous day to view the gardens. Our group was small so Jacob took us on an extended tour. Thank you Jacob! Then we came in and ate a wonderful brunch in the beautiful black barn. It was like having a private chef. Quiche, fennel root and swish salad. Delish. Go. Enjoy. You won't be disappointed
Truly exceptional food, service and vibe. It helped that it was an absolutely stunning day. We ate underneath the pergola, and made flower bouquets after the meal from Fortunate Farms.
Could not be a better day.
Poor choice in meal plan last night

Really nice place. Beautiful farm, service is a little mediocre for the level of dining and cuisine. Also they should do small bite appetizers before dinner. I just didn't leave super full.
Lovely place, great concept!! Wonderful service and delicious food. However, I have been to many tasting dinners and have fasted a bit before each---do not fast before this, the portions are so delicious but small. As long as you treat it like a tasting meal, you will be fine. The atmosphere was top notch
Farrand Hall is just SPECTACULAR! James & Jacob are some of the most inspirational visionaries in the Midwest. What they have done within their community is not only creative & extremely admirable, but it IS the American Dream. We have had the most amazing dinners of all time there! The food is always TEN STARS and the vibe is FAMILY. Farrand Hall is such a gem and if you have the opportunity to visit, DO IT!!! I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this extraordinary family empire.
Best food experience in the county! Thanks for all you do!
I purchased tickets for a class that was cancelled due to low ticket sales. I was notified via email about the cancellation but nothing was mentioned about the refund so I assumed it would atomically go back on my card. There is not a business phone number. I have sent multiple emails as well as messages via social media but cannot get a response.
