My boyfriend who runs very hot was ice cold. When it’s 10 degrees outside people want to come inside an establishment to warm up not go numb in the toes. Won’t be back until spring when it warms up outside

Was there last night; Service was bad. I'm not sure what I did to piss off the server other than ask a few questions about the menu and comment that last time I was there was ~10 years ago. We got our drinks and then didn't see him again for 20 minutes. I was about ready to stand up and pay for my drink at the bar and leave by the time he circled back again. Was dry, rude, and effectively ignored my attempts to be friendly and strike up conversation. And at the same time, he was laughing and conversing with the tables adjacent to us.
Bar was loud, football game was on, no surprise there. Average bar environment.
Food was good, among some of the better bar food I've had but didn't blow me away. Also came out quick.
Based on the issues with service, I have no reason to go back. Plenty of other decent bar food nearby, where I know I can be respected as a paying customer. And I still tipped my 20%+ on my tab despite feeling like the service was worth far less than that.
I used to spend a lot of time in Ferndale, MI. The service is terrible over there at almost every restaurant, but the food is incredible, and offsets the service just fine. Not the same here.

Joroed and Arianna, were very helpful when I came in for just a quick drink. Very friendly and personable. I appreciate how even if I didn't order food they talked to me, recommended options and made me feel welcome while I was just warming up with a drink. ariannas bubbly personality you could see amongst the guests she spoke with, and joroed was willing to just stop and chat about good IPAs, I've always loved Mill Creek but those two made it feel more like home, a place I can just stop in.

Came here for the first time yesterday. I got the onion rings and New York Strip steak. The steak was a bit overdone for medium rare, but the seasoning and vegetables were so delicious, It didn’t even bother me. The fat was well rendered and delicious too.
The onion rings and sauce are huge, great for 3 or 4 people. Delicious batter and sauce, nice sweet onions.
Service was great, very kind people working here.
I love the vibe here. Its a comfy place to grab a pint on your own, but also perfect for a group of 6.

It was freezing in there. Between the windows and the doors (front & back) opening there was a constant freezing draft. A woman even went to the standing heater and said her feet were frozen. It was clean inside, bathrooms were freezing and the inside itself was small. The parking sucked and for handicapped people would not be good at all. They did have a ramp but no close handicap places so we had to walk across a very slippery parking lot. The parking was very limited. This alone would not be a reason for returning. The mushrooms were huge and lightly breaded. They were good but I would prefer the smaller size. Personal preference and again they were good. The Reuben sandwich was very good (husband had it) and up sized to fries which were also good. I had the pot roast sandwich with waffle chips. The sandwich was amazing (I added onions & gr peppers). The waffle fries were evidently the bottom of the bag because they were all small pieces which I couldn't even hold onto to dip in the French onion dip which I paid extra for.
The wet burrito was very good (son in law had this).
The pasta carbonara was not good (daughter had) and the garlic bread came with a large black hair across it. The employees were very apologetic and of course by the time she got her new pasta we were all done eating & freezing. It was her birthday meal so it was disappointing. They did comp her meal so there is that.
All in all it was good not great and did I mention FREEZING?
The server was very slow in coming around and we had to track her down to get our check. She was pleasant as were the other employees we came into contact with.
Because of location & parking we will not return but the sandwiches would be worth it if it were not for that.
My favorite place to eat. Much more than bar food. Gourmet food at a reasonable price. Staff that treat you like they are your best friends.

I have been going to Mill Creek for over 20 years. I should realize that its a bar not a restaurant. I had the pesto chicken margarita. The description said 2 chicken breast with a pesto sauce and sun dried tomatoes. What I ended up with was 1 chicken breast and a half plate of huge broccoli. Maybe 2 tomatoes with a small amount of pesto. It was pathetic. But I should have known better not to order an actual entree at a bar. We waited way too long for the food we got. I did speak to the owner and he said you should have said something, I can’t fix it unless I know. Well now you know.
