I regularly get my family sandwiches here after every shopping trip. Thursday August 15th 4:05pm. I tried to tip them and they threw my money back at me saying they, I make my own money, I don’t accept tips”. It was 5.00, much more than 20%. I felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable the entire time in this restaurant and I am sure to never return.

Came This Morning Want To Get A Sub Lady Was Talking To The Walmart Worker Then When I Went To Tell Her What I Wanted Made Me Wait While She Took Bread Out To Put Cheese On It When The Whole Time She Could Of Been Doing That Instead Of Talking To Another Worker That’s Not Even In Her Department, I Was On Break From My Job No Other Customers Was There And She Was Just Taking Her Sweet Time I Walked Off Hungry And Had To Go Back To Work 06/10/2024

Food was good, but service left me feeling like I was a nuisance and was really not very helpful. I wouldn’t have known how or what to order if this was my first time at a Subway. The location is in a Walmart, but we wanted protein bowls so we went despite not needing to shop. I’ll find another place for a salad next time.

Came in while shopping and there were crudely made signs on cardboard all along the order line saying "be back in 20 min". My husband and I figured we'd wait a few minutes to see if they came back shortly. My husband sat down and I was about to go look at the menu when a man came from the back and told us in a rude tone we couldn't sit and turned his chip cart around that had a "no purchase, no sitting" sign, again crudely made with old cardboard. Apparently the young lady at the table hidden was a worker and could not be bothered to let us know anything (she said something but it sounded like a whole lot of mumbling with food in the mouth). With how rudely we were spoken to, we just walked out. It does not make us want to come back.

The only reason this place has 2.5 stars is because we are forced to give at least 1 star for a review. I’m an idiot for not looking at your google score before ordering from this pathetic excuse of a “restaurant”. However if there were another option for subway on alpine I wouldn’t even consider this an option.

So I’m here today to write a review on how the subway employees are treated by white Americans and black Americans and Hispanics the customers are rude and entitled and feel like they can disrespect the workers just cause they having a bad day or feel like they deserve to treat people like trash the sub way workers are very polite until spoken to like they are less than a human being and they have all rights as a fellow human being to defend they self verbally from there verbal abusers which are the customers I never seen customers act like this like they spoiled brats and can disrespect you anytime they won’t not only that but half of the customers are some Karin’s hell most of everybody in that area around Walmart in Comstock are Karin’s and cry babies and quick to call the cops cause they can’t take what they dishes out the fact that the subway workers have to deal with that on a daily they deserve a raise and I’m just a customer sitting and eating and watching how disgusting the customers can get and I for one firmly believe the customers are not and I mean not always right y’all are wrong and won’t to be right that’s all I have to say appreciate the honesty all these people leaving these reviews are liars and people who have nothing better to live for than complain about someone else
I was eating in there with my husband, this client lady arrived trying to cut in line...and then she was like Mrs smarty pants or like a karen....but it's not fair for her to have had pick up a fight with the lady worker....the client was so rude to the worker and she attempted to call the police making it into a racial thing so the client claimed to be Jewish and be discriminated by the worker trying to use a race card to the police....the police ignored her...I feel bad for the worker lady bc serving ppl and having stuff ready is already a lot of stressful work and it's not fair for a client to treat her that way

The service is way way way slower. Asking for a glove change is like a crime to the girl behind the counter.This is the worst Subway branch I have been into.

After shopping at Walmart, I was super hungry, so I thought I would grab a sandwich at the subway in Walmart. The young lady behind the counter African-American attempted to go from one Client to another after handling money, and just put on gloves and continue to make a sandwich for me, I simply asked her if she could wash her hands in between, she did not seem to get an attitude. However, she wiped the remaining moisture of her hands after using hand towels onto her jeans, and then proceeded to put her gloves on. I really didn’t feel good about that so, I declined to pay for the sandwich.

I have to say it, I just went there the guy who works there very polite, always willing to treat you with respect and give you what you ask for, I asked for a wrap he put three pieces of cheese on the wrap the lady african american I don’t know if she is the manager or not, he asked him if I asked for extra cheese he said no, she immediately took one piece of the cheese and threw it back, she never asked me if i wanted extra cheese or not like I was 5 years old and I am over 40. They complain about racism but look what she just did. Unprofessional and disrespectful behavior by this african american lady whoever is the supervisor should have a talk with this employee.
