When we first brought our Goldendoodle, Maggie, home, she was very under-socialized. It was the middle of winter, and we knew she needed to be around other dogs and exposed to new experiences. She’s fun-loving and absolutely thrives in the company of other pups — all thanks to The Pack!
We also know Maggie can be a bit “extra” and often needs redirection during daycare. The team at The Pack has always been warm, patient, and incredibly welcoming. We truly appreciate the care and understanding they show her every time she's there.
I’ve never once felt uneasy or hesitant about leaving her in their hands. And while I don’t usually write reviews, this one feels very over due... I recommend The Pack to every dog parent I meet!
Hudson is a high energy Husky 2 year old German Shepard who has so much love to give. The Pack is a wonderful alternative to a kennel, well me and my husband are at work. I love picking Hudson up from The Pack because he is always tired from playing, and so relaxed when I bring him home, worth every penny.
I've been coming here for 3 years, my dog always loves coming and I love being able to socialize him so close to home!
Our small dog loves the pack! The staff does a great job keeping an eye on dogs and making sure they're safe. If a dog gets aggressive (which only happens rarely) they will take the dog to a separate space to prevent anyone from getting hurt. We're also a huge fan of the full bar and food options there.
This is my dogs favorite place ON EARTH! The staff treat my fur baby like one of their own. They food is YUM (try the cheese curds, thank me later) and the drinks are fun. Love that I can also have a good time socializing while my dog gets to play with his buddies.
Niko loves going here and the people take good care of him while there and are very friendly
I send my dog 3 days a week to the pack for doggy daycare and have been sending him since before he turned a year old and I absolutely love it there! The staff is amazing, I love the photos and the report card I get about my dogs day and the extra activities they plan have resulted it some amazing photos of my dog, and even some art work. Knowing that the staff cares for the safety and well being of all the dogs helps a lot. They also have a dog park option that it great for those days when Michigan weather just isn't good enough for a walk outside. Their food is amazing as well.
The Pack Indoor Dog Park is just far enough away from the rest of the normie class in W,S Grand Rapids to cost you on the commute especially if you plan to scoop up your dog and drive out there after the 17:00 hour. When you arrive there are usually enough spots, but they do not allow parking in the entirety of their lot and sometimes it can get a bit tight. Inside: you will be greated by a rubber floor reminiscent of turnpike motel rooms, the staff are operating at about a 7/10 on the pee cleanup on the inside portion of the facility, there are drains in the floor but it seems like there’s often puddles present and; by no fault of the staffs the floor is slow to dry. If your dog is uneasy on their feet or has a tendency to favor the joints they may slip scaring their little fluffy dog minds forever. There is a definite odor, but it’s only something that bothers you if you’re weak and unable to appreciate the fact that it could be exponentially worse considering the staff is out numbered by our dogs, the creators of chaos and messes. The restaurant and bar area are clean and there is a good sense of food safety and overall quality of their service and food selection. The real shining star about this place is ironically there outdoor facilities, though smaller, they are secure well stimulating with different textured surfaces, shaded areas, music, and seating for both the extro and introverted hoomans. Price for a year day care included and uncapped daily visits $350 Clams. Less than a dollar a day. Overall it’s a five star business, more substance to their indoor zone would do them a ton of good! Turf mats, play structures, there is so much space and it ends up becoming a doggy ice rink most of the time. Love this place! Want to see the most amazing things to come from doubling down on enrichment indoors.

My golden is timid but her visits to The Pack has helped her become more confident. The staff is exceptional with the many dog personalities. And, as a bonus, the food is good!
I almost hate to share a review, because if too many people find out about this awesome place, there might be a line out the door. Nevertheless, a place to come, sit, watch your dog play with others, and have a beer... And all done with impeccable service by the staff.
We love The Pack and so does our dog Tully! The staff takes very good care of him and treats all of us with kindness and compassion! Tully can’t wait to go see all his friends and play his heart out❤️👏Thank you all so much! 🥰❤️👍
Beware of a dog named Hazel. Aggressively bit another dog and the owner banned the bit dog who required emergency vet care. Employees have left due to the moronic decisions by the glorified bar owner who is seemingly discriminating against certain breeds due to being uneducated and money focused. There was no adequate explanation so I imagine Hazel's owner is a friend or possesses some compromising info, I have no clue. 3 previous attacks on this dog at the same park and nothing was ever done by management. Now cue the lying, meandering diatribe from the owner making wild accusations I can't respond to on this platform. But I won't be pulling this one down and plan to let everyone i know how this place operates.
Took my James there for the first time today. Based on the negative reviews, I was prepared for the possibility he wouldn't be a good fit (seems to be what all negative reviews stem from). He did terrific, and got along well with all the other dogs. It was a billion degrees outside, so it was great to have a big indoor space for him to play. We went on a monday morning, so most of the dogs were daycare dogs, with only a couple other owners present and no restaurant.
The staff clearly work to know all of the different dogs names and needs. They gently balanced the 2 large and 3 small separate spaces to keep dogs separated or give them space when they needed it.
Visiting cost $8, but had to be purchased as a $40, 5 visit punch card (memberships also available).
Great option for giving my James some time to socialize with other dogs and people and get his exercise.
I will definately be going back. Maybe when the restaurant is open.
