“Went to dinner 8/14/25 and had our typical nice meal with bill over $100 and was SHOCKED to see a .75 cent charge for the two 1" butter patties I had asked for!! The other 7 folks at our table thought this was a joke but, alas, afraid not. Which word comes to mind- cheap, chintzy, petty, ridiculous or all of them? Oh, as it was my birthday we figured most nice restaurants offer a complimentary dessert but not here. Silly me for expecting that when I had to pay for the butter.”

“Stopped in for hot dogs since it is National Hot Dog day. Tried a regular dog, chili cheese dog, and a polish dog with kraut and they were all delicious! Plus we didn’t have to cook. Had a bunch more interesting hot dogs and loaded potatoes we want to try next time.”

“LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH!!! We were on the way home from a road trip and we were starving, I looked up food near us and Sticks n Stones was just up the road! We couldn't believe that we could get bacon cheese burgers, eat ice cream by a pond, feed and pet goats, pick flowers, and grab some things from a gift shop, ALL IN ONE PLACE! Food was DELICIOUS!!! “I don't remember her name, but the person working this truck stop subway was really kind and took the time to make the sandwiches nice. A lot of subways these days are very dodgy in quality and service, this location does an amazing job!”

“The pizzas were very good here. Service was a little hectic. Maybe they had some miscommunication going on.
In spite of that, I will get pizza from here again. They did compensate us for the extra wait time.”

“We were in Lakeview for the Gus Macker tournament and had nowhere to eat late at night. Katie and Teri welcomed us in at 9:45 PM and even reopened the kitchen for us. They were incredibly friendly, and we had a great time. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for good food and good vibes. I had the garlic parm fries and grilled chicken—both were amazing. Big thanks to Katie and Terry for taking care of us!”

“I went through the drive through of the Lakeview, MI McDonald’s around 6:20 this morning. I have never received such amazing service through a drive through!! It is clear that the leadership at this location is doing an amazing job! Each employee took ownership! I placed a very large order and every employee I encountered thanked me repeatedly! I am incredibly impressed!! I will definitely be back to this location!! I only caught one of their names, Kris, but everyone was awesome!! The lady that brought the food out to me was an absolute doll! Please let them know that they all turned my day around!!”

“We had two orders, 1 was through the subway app 1 was through door dash. The order through the app was done, and waiting for pick up when we arrived, the lady explained that the doordash order had to be made once we arrived as they don't get many dash orders. The lady making the food was more than polite, she was exactly what customer service is supposed to be, excellent!!!!!! Kudos to you guys for not only having great customer service, but also a clean restaurant an the food was good as well.. Thank you 😊”
