I would recommend this place ANYONE! Was the best food I've had since moving to Michigan. If you have family coming in or want to treat your family to a meal, go here hands down the best place in the area if not all of UP.

What an excellent find in Crystal Falls! Great service to go along with fantastic food. BBQ beans were best I've come across. Sandwiches were very good portions. Homemade pickles are great. Nachos were enough to feed the 4 of us instead of just the person who ordered them. Smoked turkey sandwich was to die for. Oh, and house made cannoli's for dessert. Highly recommended them and the food.
Best smoked BBQ Iron County! We shared the 2 Choice-2 side platter, and still had left overs!! The mac-n-cheese was a sticky goodness paired with the brisket & pulled pork along the coleslaw. Definitely a new favorite, placed high up on the list of places to eat!!

What a find! We're camping nearby and didn't want to cook, so we went to Curious Pig. Our server was Crystal and she was awesome. I ordered a strawberry lemonade and it was perfect - and made in house. Hubs ordered a Sprecher root beer and that was delish too. I saw they had double smoked ham on the meat platter menu (would make an awesome grilled ham and Mac sandwich), so we ordered a 2 meat, 2 side with an extra side of honey cornbread: ham, smoked turkey, baked beans and coleslaw. Crystal also brought us an assortment of sauces, all made in house. I loved the strawberry on the cornbread!
If you're in the beautiful Crystal Falls area, do your self a favor and stop here for a meal. You will not walk out unsatisfied!

Great meal! We’ve eaten a lot of pulled pork and beef brisket in our time, and this ranks among the tastiest we’ve had!
Not what I was expecting. I was traveling through the area a couple years ago and saw they had a Luau Pizza with a coconut sauce and toasted coconut, ham and pineapple. Unfortunately, they were closed the day I rolled through. This time I made sure they were going to be open when I was traveling through again mid June. I love coconut and never heard of a pizza like that so very excited. I ordered takeout. That pizza without red peppers and their hush puppies with pimento cheese. The girl who took my order said that those were her favorite items from the menu so I had high hopes. I get my order and go to my RV. I open the pizza it doesn't look great. I take a bite and it's lacking any coconut flavor. The hush puppies were ice cold. I was going to go back in to tell them but I figured I was going to have to heat them once I arrived at my RV park so why bother though I'm sure they would have been excellent fried and crispy. I didn't complain about the pizza at that moment either because it was edible just not what I was hoping for. Nice restaurant though. Seating inside and out. Friendly staff. I would go back if ever in area again and maybe try their pulled pork or other BBQ and would eat at the restaurant instead of carryout.

I lived in the southern states most of my life and BBQ is taken very seriously down there. Curious Pig is the closest thing to southern BBQ you will find in the U.P. or even in MI/WI for that matter. Great food, decent prices and staff is very nice.

Stopped in for some dinner and this place did not disappoint. The combination of the friendliest staff imaginable, the best food and even the BBQ smell of the building makes this the place a must stop for locals and tourists alike.
