We were on a trip to the U.P. and stumbled upon this place on the way. Super cute and cozy vibes - perfect for fall. Our food was delicious and the sweet tea was AMAZING. I’ve never had a sweet tea that good before! We had the whole upstairs area to ourselves which was also favorable. My one and only complaint was that when we got our food some of the meat was cooler, which makes me slightly concerned on how long it was sitting out. Everything went down great so I’m hoping it stays that way post dinner!

Ate at the food truck, besides being overpriced I have never tasted liquid smoke so strong in my life. My wife picked up the Mac and cheese from the truck on Wednesday in Ironmountain. Hoping it was everything I have heard about, it was not. We had to throw away the entire dish. I really hope this was a one off as I have heard great things about this place,but I couldn't even choke it down.

My partner and I had a date night here this evening. My smokee turkey and brisket were delicious and he loved his ribs. We were also impressed with the warm potato salad and cole slaw. We loved all the sauce selection as well. Truly a delicious meal. We will be back!
The food was incredible. We sat outside on an amazing sunny day near the smoker. The smells and the flavors were all encompassing. Best flavors in the area hands down!

Excellent BBq, I got the brisket sandwich. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Also ordered a pizza for later that night. It's loaded down on thin crust just the way I like it. Cooks and staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Clean and cozy atmosphere.

Absolutely incredible! Curious Pig is hands-down one of the best barbecue spots I’ve ever been to. The smoked meats are bursting with flavor, and you can tell they put real care into every dish. The homemade sides were next level — comforting, creative, and the perfect complement to the meal. If you’re anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won’t regret it!

We stumbled across this place hungry on some travels and by random chance. Nice surprise! Smells great as soon as you get out of the car. The location is really cool with a lovely interior and warm lighting. Between my husband and I we had brisket, sausage and rib on our platters with Mac n cheese, beans and veggies. Everything was amazing. Loved the seasoning on the veggies and the smoked flavor of the Mac n cheese. The portions are generous so even though we arrived with an appetite, we had plenty of leftovers. More than expected when some other diners took off and left an untouched piece of brisket on the table. I’ve never done this before but I grabbed the brisket off their table to take home because it’s that good. lol

Ordered take out and it was ready fast! I’ve had a Rueben at Zingermans in Ann Arbor and a Rueben at Katz deli NYC and the Rueben at the Curious Pig topped both, not kidding. I’ll definitely have it again.
