The food itself wasn’t bad, OK at best but the service was frustrating. After finishing, we sat for about 20 minutes with no check and eventually had to go up to the counter just to pay. No one asked how our food was or offered any follow-up. It felt like we were inconveniencing them just to settle the bill. I also had a beer sitting at the end of the table for nearly an hour that was never cleared or asked if I wanted anything else. Service was so slow. The salad bar sucked - lot of options but everything was cold. Mashed potatoes were some of the worst I had. The fish was a good portion and the salad bar and potato bar is a good idea but wasn’t very good. Came once before and was a little better but after this not coming back. The old restaurant was way better and I don’t think it’s fair that the old reviews from the Fobs restaurant show up for New Leaf, nothing is the same. New Leafs rating would be terrible as you can see from the last year of reviews.

Was not impressed by the food, This diner was better when it was Fobs where the pies were homemade and the cooking was more homey. I think they've tried to go trendy but, Honey is better in my opinion.

The server was excellent. She handled my pre-teen grandkid's unbridled shenanigans very well. The food was Sisco truck quality cook by a former school lunch cook. The dining area could have been cleaner. With that being said. I don't want to speculate what conditions were in the kitchen. Probably won't eat there again. I hope the server finds a better place to work at.

Swedish pancakes, have to eat with Lingonberry jam. Perfect match.
Tried the ham this time. Some of the best tasting ham I've had. Through a bit of that jam on there, super delish!

Service was understaffed for a Valentine's holiday, but they did the best they could. The food was as good as it's always been, and fare priced. The atmosphere hasn't changed much since new ownership, but it feels comfortable and welcoming. Overall a good experience.

I stopped there for breakfast and had a very good meal but it was very cold in the restaurant. Their heaters must not be working. So if you go in there during the winter time, you will need to wear your jacket while you're eating.

Used to go here all the time until they put up this horrible wall between the kitchen and the tables. No one sits at this new wall and it really killed the atmosphere, especially for single men who constantly filled those stools looking for a quick meal.
I figured it was temporary, but I guess not. Bad choice, folks.
