I have been going to BSD for many years and have always been very impressed with their sandwich’s and soup. Definitely a 10 out of ten. The owner and staff are great. I always recommend BSD to friends and family.

I really enjoy this place for a good deli sandwich.Its hard to find a good rueben so when i go to Bear Soup I get the rueben.They make a delicious rueben. Unlike some places, they dont overload with corn beef. This sandwich has a good balance and great flavor.

So disappointed in our visit today! My daughter is a vegetarian so I thought I'd bring her to get a great sandwich and we definitely didn't get that! But we got a whole lot of attitude for trying to order a vegetarian sandwich. They have great fresh bread and cheese and l vegetables so I was certain that we'd get an amazing sandwich for her... Instead we were met with only one option and a very annoyed cashier. She is normally very nice but today she did a lot of eye rolling and wasn't helpful at all... As a matter of fact she shot down every request we made for a decent sandwich and wouldn't even make us a grilled cheese with tomato. She said it would get all over their press. So we went with our only option and it came out wrong... We asked for no olives and it was covered and we asked for mayo and got none. And the veggies that were on the sandwich were cut so big that they wouldn't even stay on the bread! It was an absolute disaster. I told her I thought theyd have some great options and she said that would defeat the purpose of it being a deli.... That was like adding insult to injury! Despite coming with my friends and family for years.... I feel terrible for talking my daughter into giving them a try and I most likely won't be back and I'll definitely be telling all of my veggie friends that the Bear soup deli is not friendly or inclusive. Any great deli should have lots of options for everyone especially since you already have all of the ingredients!

I LOVE this place. I have only been here a few times now but each time the food was delicious, staff were over the top friendly and the atmosphere feels like home. Every time I have came in, everyone between staff and customers, always have a smile on their faces. I have gotten soup and wraps so far but i am excited to try more on the menu. Highly recommend.

Davison is blessed to have such a great small family deli like this. Everything is fresh and homemade. My wife and I split a delicious turkey Reuben sandwich and both of us got a cup of our favorite soup (split pea with ham and cream of mushroom). More than enough food. Lunches come with a dill spear.

This is a nice little place to have a soup and a sandwich. Unfortunately when they run out of basic components like lettuce in the grocery store is literally 2 mi away???? You sell lettuce less salads and wraps instead of grabbing a head or two??? My family restaurant, we run to the grocery for basics if the food truck hasn't arrived! We would never say sorry you can't have cheese on your pizza because the food truck hasn't arrived yet?
