The food here is amazing and it's refreshing to have creative menu options that go well beyond the standard pub/grill food that dominates the region. There are still plenty of standard options (steak, wings, pizza, fish & chips, etc.), but several of the less common items are among the best food I've had in Davison, especially the new Spicy Salmon Bowl. The salmon was cooked to perfection (not dried out or undercooked) and the whole dish was a fantastic combination of flavors. I hope they'll keep that one on the menu permanently. My wife and I also love the Cajun style Seared Tuna Tacos and Mango Chicken Tacos. Hamlin has been a wonderful addition to our Davison food options.

I have never been to this establishment. Told my husband I would call to ask if they had specials. I was put on hold for 10 minutes so I called back 3 times and without listen threw me on hold. 4th time as ai screamed into the phone like every other time “no, no, no! She finally told me she had no time to answer me. I may have said a something not so nice and hung up. Needless to say we won’t be visiting any time soon.

They were gonna get a 5 star, until I ate my jambalaya which is a seasonal dish. All my veg was rock hard. The poutine was great My wife's chicken strips were great and the service was great, but that doesn't excuse rock hard veg in my jambalaya and I mean literally 20-30 minutes undercooked. I ate the poutine in house, everything else was eaten at my home reheated so it was even still hard after being reheated.

I ordered a burger well done and it came raw with the top of the bun laying in the blood of the burger. I had to ask a different waitress to fix my problem as my primary waitress was too busy on her phone to even ask if everything was okay. When they replaced it I still had had to wait for another beer to wash down a pre made burger. The atmosphere was good, but the service and food was subpar by far.and I got no discount for this really crappy experience.
My family loves it at Hamlin bc everyone can find something to eat. The service and food are usually good. However if you are going with anyone sensitive to noise, this is not the place. Tonight we tried to eat at 830pm. Sure, a bit late for dinner by most standards, but we figured it would be OK on a Thursday. Wrong. We walked in and had to immediately walk out. There was a performer who was VERY loud. Usually, if there's an act, we will ask to sit in the other room where it's a bit more quiet, but that section was closed. It's unfortunate, but we can't seem to find a good night to go anymore.

Waited long just to get our takeout. Had missing ingredients that we even paid extra for. And the sandwiches were torn apart with lettuce that looked like it was pulled out of the trash that I wouldn't even feed my dog. I'll be making sure to let people know it's not worth the drive....
