I'm so sad to have to write this, but with the new ownership the quality and quantity of the items has gone way down. The waffle cones are smaller and thinner, and they only put one scoop ON TOP of the cone when you order a junior size. It used to be double that and fill up the cone with the previous owner. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be coming back and we were regulars for many years. I did give them an opportunity to fix it at the drive-thru location and they refused and said that the cone would break if they put ice cream inside of it. I drove to Ice Cream Junction and they fixed it but it wasn't enough to convince me to come back sadly 😞

Not what it used to be. So disappointed. I have an ice cream store not a half mile from me but I would drive the 3 miles to Mayberry because I liked their brand better but never again.
I went today and ordered a single of hand dipped. Girl said $4.51 .. ok prices went up … expected that… but when she brought out a baby sized cone I questioned it…. Because $4.51 for what looked to be half a scoop of ice cream I was shocked! So girl said previous portion sizes must have been scooped wrong for me when I told her it was not what I was used to. It was also very soft and tasted like it had been in the freezer all winter!
End of last year I noticed the quality going down but chalked it up to end of the season but I see that is not the case.

Exceptional personalities from the two young gals working and the manner in which they handled the woman claiming she didn’t get her 9 cents change. Shame on the old bag that even came back inside to accuse them of such a thing. Our ice cream was delicious and we’ll be back!

Family and I come twice a week. But not anymore. Today I wanted a medium shake for $5 ended up costing me over $8. The kids working should have said it’s a $3 extra charge for hand dipped. The sign says $5 for a shake. If I had known I wouldn’t have paid $8 for a medium shake. That’s insane!!! Also my wife gets the soft serve every week and today they bring her out a baby size for the price of a medium soft serve. My wife even said this is way smaller then what she usually gets, the girl never even acknowledged her. Also my wife’s credit card got denied and the girls were laughing about it behind her back and I seen it thou. It was stressful at that moment cause she is thinking the credit card number must have gotten stolen cause that’s never happened. so I paid with my credit card. We called the owner and all she said was she is having staffing issues. Ok things happens but atleast offer to make it right with us for ripping us off and give us a simple coupon for the next visit.
