Wow, the prices have gone up significantly with portions smaller. 9 pieces of fish no sides is $36!! And the pieces are 2"x2"

The food was terrible, our drinks were not good either 10/10 would not recommend. We addressed it with them via message as well and got zero acknowledgment let alone resolution. Will never go there again 🤢

I hesitated, , but this needs to be communicated. I have been going here since 1975. Granted, infrequently due to the distance. Went here April 9th, 2025 foot their fried Cod Dinner 2 piece. with rice and salad. 18.99 plus tip. Two nuggets came. a desert size dish of rice and the salad bar was sparse. I mean, most things just about empty. The plate for an evening dinner was the size of others salad plate. The waitress literally after I finished came by and noticed my empty water glass ( I just drink water) and asked if I wanted more. I replied 'No Thank you, I could have used more earlier' to which she started in on they have a Bar. I could go sit at the Bar and have a few drinks. I declined and then she asked for our desert request. We did not want any desert. I go to restaurants. I avoid Bars, and avoid Bars that want to pretend to be restaurants, and restaurants that try to pretend to be a Bar. The Fried Fish and rice was way out of proportion to cost. Service was lacking.

Our experience was very good. Our server Christina was very pleasant and took very good care of us, and the food was excellent. We will be back again

Portions have become smaller here especially for the price long wait times. This place used to be an amazing place now mediocre food with a rude heavy set manager with long brown hair. Do not deal with her when issues she was so rude an unprofessional.

We love going to Whitey's always great food!! I go crazy over the coconut shrimp with raspberry sauce!! So yummy!! We do have one complaint the last time we were there!! Our waitress, Deidra, was very friendly and checked on us often!! But when we paid our bill with $100 bill and she brought our $45 in change, she asked us if we wanted the 20's broken into smaller bills!! Hhmm fishing for a bigger tip!! Kind of rude to say the least!! She's lucky she got a $5 tip!! Never got a thank you, she just grabbed it and left!!

Beyond disappointing! I got takeout and as soon as I got home I began to eat and found a hair wrapped around my perch. I called he put me on hold and as he did that I found another long piece of hair! And so my call soon was disconnected. I called back and he said I’d receive a gift card and a call from manager and have not received anything . Not impressed.

Whitey’s is a great, old school restaurant, with some great options. The salad bar is relatively basic, but a great value with just about any meal. There are a lot of seafood options on the menu; in particular, we really enjoyed the Oysters Rockefeller. The staff here, catering to a large birthday party, was excellent. A great option in the Davison area.

Great Bread, Fish is flaky, and Turkey Ruben good.

The waitress was too busy tending a family with kids she kinda of just ignored us.

Tonight I went to whitey I normally go on lunch but I really wanted some fish well let me tell you tonight was a disaster the waiter Ashley went to the manger because I taste my friend and son salad. I been to whitey 5times and my friend and I share salads all the time and nothing was ever said to us well let me tell you I had to deal with a discrimination I send my fish finger back because they where extra soft and I ask for extra well done. The manger Chelsea was very rude she put the side salad on my bill even through I didn’t have a full salad I was told it’s a policy that state you can’t share your salad. I asked the manger to see the policy and she couldn’t show me I would love for the owners to reach out to me because that was really hurt ful thank you

Crab legs at a Chinese buffet are better than what they serve.. the shrimp was over cooked and so tough you couldn't bite them.

What happened! Coconut Fish portions servered seemed to be cut by 50%. I don't understand. We paid a premium price for small and I mean small pieces of cod. I should have rejected my meal but didn't want to make a scene. After many years of patronizing this establishment I won't go back.

Good fish... mashed potatoes were cold and no taste they raised the price on the fish dinners $$$ for what you get☹️.
