A beautifully crafted burger. It looked almost to good to eat. Very flavorful. This will always be my go-to spot for a good burger.

We were nearby, looked for some quick burgers, seen this one. Reviews weren't bad, thought we'd take a chance. Really glad we did.

The burgers were great, cooked as we requested. They did both come with lettuce (shredded) and tomato, which wasn't listed on the Burger description. So make sure to tell them if you don't want it. I recommend the Mushroom & Swiss!

Fries were some of the best fries we've had at a fast food place. They're seasoned, little heat and sweet. Very unique!

Mac & cheese bites, if there's a disappointment, these were it. Although we love Mac n cheese bites, and honestly is one reason we picked this place, these were a let down. Most places they're larger, these were small, like cheese curd size. Which means more breading less Mac n cheese. Of everything we had, these are the one thing we wouldn't order again. Sad, because we actually seek out places that sell them! We're huge fans of Mac n cheese bites, just not these. Very little taste other than breading.

Drinks are a can, not fountain. Not a huge deal, unless you're eating on the road. Cans are a little harder to prevent spilling. I only mention it, so you're aware, and can skip one if that's an issue.

Ordered chicken strips, can't say how they were, I forgot to try them. Just ordered to go, for the 2 dogs. They loved them though.

Seating is extremely limited. More of a grab and go place.

Parking is an issue, they're located between other businesses, we had a difficult time finding a place to park, none of the lots or sidewalks around them were cleared. They did clear in front of their building, just watch your step going in! Its in the center of a strip mall, kind of run down, tough to get into, but worth the effort.

All in all, we were happy. Food was done before we got there, she handed me the bags, away I went. It was hot, service was great, staff really friendly. Can't ask for more! We would go back if we're up that way again.

Undoubtedly the best burgers there are in metro Detroit area. We’ve ordered twice here and there were no troubles whatsoever. The burgers are just stupid good. We got the truffle smashburger with fries, Aljoom burger and chocolate milkshake and oh my god this was food orgasm. The fries were thick and perfectly crunchy - perfecto! The Burgers were juicy, flavorful, saucy and so darn delicious. Milkshake was rich and thick. Genuinely surprised this place has 4.4 this place is amazing, don’t listen to butter people.
Thanks for the good business!

It’s been a few years since I’ve had it and I decided to give it a shot once more. I really don’t know what it is but the last time and this time have given me food poisoning. I don’t know if it’s the burger or the brisket but something just doesn’t agree with me. I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

I made my own burger, double with American cheese, grilled onions, fresh jalapeno, lettuce, bacon, and mayo. I ordered with no bun to stay low carb.

BEST burger I've had all year. Juicy fresh meat, fresh veggies and the cook did not disappoint knowing I was riding without cheeks. I will return very soon and found a new favorite fresh burger joint!

Parking is the only downside of this place, so just deal with it! Worth every second!

The best brisket in town

Jami Van Alstine

The brisket was good. The brisket fries were great, but the star, the brisket was overpowered by the BBQ sauce. Ask for it on the side, I will next time.

Burger Shack never disappoints! Their loaded mac and cheese topped with brisket is comfort food at its best, and the burgers are just as incredible. They’re also home to the award-winning Detroit Burger Battle Champion of 2023, which truly lives up to the hype. I also love that they share a menu with Al Joom for smoked brisket — it makes the options even better. Whether it’s the monthly specials like the orange chicken sandwich, the fan-favorite Philly Blanco, or the Detroiter sub loaded with smoked brisket, jalapeños, onions, and mushrooms, every bite is packed with flavor. Definitely one of Detroit’s go-to spots for halal comfort food!
