I really wanted to give this a 4 or 5 stars, especially for the good service and how excited I was to try the chicken shawarma pizza. Maybe I set the bar too high but I find the quality of the ingredients and pizza overall to be somewhat disappointing. They had my pizza ready right on time and a very nice employee got me in and out. By the time I got home I was starving from a long day and couldn’t seem to get the toppings to stay on the pizza to save my life. After a very messy first two slices, I decided to let it sit and let the cheese and toppings settle so I can enjoy each slice the proper way. And to be honest I’m getting kind of a frozen pizza type of taste from it now. The diced or cubed grilled chicken has that same bland and almost artificial frozen chicken taste you’d get from a digiorno or freshetta type of product. I’d suggest replacing that with a better quality product like would be in an actual shawarma sandwich in a restaurant. Otherwise the sauce and cheese are pretty good and I’ll probably be giving them another try on their other types of pizza. Like I said maybe I just had too high of expectations thinking I was gonna love it and sounded right up my alley, but turned out to just not be my thing.

Detroit Pizza Factory is hands down one of the best pizza spots I’ve ever been to , not just in Dearborn/ Dearborn highest/ Taylor but anywhere. What makes this place truly stand out isn't just the delicious food (which is phenomenal), but the passion and pride the owner puts into making sure every single customer walks away happy. You can tell right away that this isn’t just a business to him , it’s a mission.

Today I ordered a half-and-half pizza—Meat Lovers on one side, Veggie on the other—and it was absolutely PERFECT. Fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. You can taste the quality in every bite. What blew me away even more was the level of customer service. The owner genuinely goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is nothing less than amazing. His commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction is something you don’t see often these days.
I’m a big supporter of small businesses, especially when they take such pride in their work. Detroit Pizza Factory is a shining example of what happens when passion meets service. If you haven’t tried it yet, do yourself a favor ,you’ll never look at pizza the same way again!

Possibly the best pizza I’ve ever had and I’ve had a fair share of pizza in my life.

I ordered a deep dish with pepperoni and old world (cup) pepperoni with a butter crust for delivery.

The dough was crispy on the edges and airy in the middle, the toppings were evenly distributed and perfectly layered. The taste was phenomenal and I struggled to stop eating! An absolute must try.

The service and price was also really good. Jeff called ahead to prepare me for the delivery and the driver was patient, friendly, and made sure my order was correct before leaving. All around great experience. Deep dish + cheese bread + ranch (excellent) for $33. Easily fed 3.

I definitely will order again.

Pizza had a great balance of ingredients, really gives it the Detroit style sizzle. Only marked to 4 stars due to price and customer service was a little all over the place but I can't blame them, these are tough times.

First time trying. Heard a lot of good things. We ordered the Detroit style large with old world pepperoni, Bacon And onions. We also got an Italiano salad with ranch. We got the everything crust on the pizza and it was very garlicky and delicious. Pizza was cooked right, sauce wasn't overpowering. The three cheese blend was very nice and the salad was very good. They use high quality olives and very nice cheese. You could taste the quality in it along with the homemade ranch. Would definitely recommend checking this place out

I honestly waited a year to try this place, not because I didn’t want to- but because I was stuck in my “I like this place so I’ll order all the time” mood. I wish I would have went sooner because this place is my new pizza restaurant! From their dill pickle pizza ( my FAV ) to their regular pepperoni and cheese - there is no denying that they have the best around! Bonus- the staff is SUPER friendly and nice!

Tried this place for the first time. Their desert cookie is half the size compared to other pizza places next door. The cookie wasn't even cooked. I had to stick it in the oven when I got home. And Again, it's half the size than their direct competitors. Had to remind the girl at the checkout to charge me for the 2 liter even after she watched me take it from the cooler. As a local, I'll pass next time.
