Placed a carryout. The place reaks of urine, the General Chicken was soggy, hardly any sauce just popcorn chicken with some fake sauce microwaved. Rice had zero flavor, the eggroll was micro sized....threw the entire order away two blocks away.

Crab ragoon bursting with flavor, and yes you can actually taste crab. Egg rolls a bit on the smaller size, but don't let that fool you. Perfectly cooked to crispy perfection and an even blend of ingredients. Food was quite good. General chicken is not general tso chicken that's what I kind of thought. Don't even think it. It stands alone, I liked it, medium spice wasn't too crazy at all but after forkful after forkful you do feel it. Haha good baseline to start if you aren't sure. Sweet n sour check was good too , their sauce was a bit different, had more like a marmalade consistency. Still tastes good tho. Portion sizes were excellent, great bang for your buck. The only discrepancy I really had, and it's purely opinionated and has no reflection on their food or service; too me the chicken pieces were just in the smaller size(popcorn chicken size). Again all opinion on that one, but why it's 4 star vs 5 star. Finally their service is impeccable, very friendly and fast. I will be back.

This past Memorial Day I had unexpected family guest coming to my house. From 2 guest, to 6 guest, to 10 guest within 1hr. I needed to figure out what am I gonna feed these people that are on my way to my house..The restaurant i usually buy my takeout Chinese was closed..and the ones near my house dont like. So I took a chance and called this place Lum's Chop Suey. I told them it's gonna be a large last minute order. She was nice and polite and accepted my order with recommendations of what to pick. Long story short everything was great! All My guest was saying how good the food was. We also had plenty of leftovers for people to take food home with them. This place has become my new favorite Chinese restaurant.

We LOVE LUMS! We make and hour trip each way at least once, maybe twice a month! The food is amazing, portions are great and the service is above and beyond any serive i have had before! We will stay returning customers forever because of this!!
