The pizza is always fresh and delicious My favorite is the chicken florentine and the Philly cheese steak but sometimes I do enjoy the traditional pepperoni and cheese with the garlic butter crust.

Wow! I was really surprised when I saw the rating was only 2.4 and for this location. I am a pizza snob and connoisseur and in my opinion, Marco's is the Best commercial pizza place and this particular location on Pelham in Dearborn Heights. I like a pizza filled with air and strong gluten rest so rise well (1"+) on the crust, which Marco's has always done with a lot of void in the crust. The sauce is great and does not burn my stomach like some pizza places (Bonito's). I don't get to eat it so often as moved and it's a 20-30 min drive one way. Yesterday's pizza was good, but there were some changes I noted from all my previous experiences and a little disappointed in one, but I'll try to identify them. Pros: 1. The pizza was done perfectly (color) and hot. The sauce tasted great as always, so very happy with this. 2. The cheese was thicker than other places and very "gooy", so when you pulled a piece away, the cheese stretch and indefinitively. 3. The pizza was "heavy" and when compared to other pizza places ordered from, I would say, 2 to 3 times!! Not sure why, maybe the cheese and maybe the dough more dense? 4. The bottom was done perfectly, but more "cracker-like"! Some people may like this, some maybe not. I like a still bottom, but not cracker like and this was different than I had before! So, not sure if any changes to the dough recipe or how being cooked, but noted the difference and not as I would have expected and preferred. 5. My biggest disappointment was the crust! As I said, I like a lot of airyiness and voids and this one was not as I had in the past! Likewise, it was lower-rise, say 1/2" instead of the 1" I'm used to and prefer.
Do to the above, I can't rate it as a "5" as previously. I think a "3" would be too low and they don't allow any partial ratings, therefore, I will have to rate it a "4", but still, significantly higher than the 2.4 average and hope they take this constructive criticism into account and make the necessary changes to bring back to where it was, so that I can rate it a "5". Right now, my #2 is Hungry Howie's, which they do have a very negative in it's not temperature "hot" when I pick it up! That was not a problem with Marcos.

I stop in here to get dinner on my way into the hospital for the night, the manager was friendly and polite and most of the rest of the staff. my complaint is I know it's the holiday and they are swamped with orders, but my cheese bread was horrible, I ordered it well done cause I like crispy edges but when I bit into it was very doughy and look nothing like the picture and was under cheesed and buttered. Garlic . I was excited to get the bread too I've enjoyed Marcos over the years but this was disappointing to say the least especially this was my meal for a 12 hour shift . I will still patronize this location , was just a little bummed. I hope they have a successful and safe holiday season š

Was thinking Buddy's square/deep dish but I will always support local, and support my people so I ordered a large square/deep dish. It was well done to my liking, under carriage was nice and crisp, cheesy good, toppings fresh and also good. Greek salad š„ was also on point. My mother and I enjoyed this meal and I would order it again..

called to order pizza and after 4 min they hung up on me called back she answers i ask why you hang up on me she says ok what do you want wait what it was like she ignored me so i hang up i go there after talking to someone about Marcos claims there just busy so i get there and order after i order i ask why did you hang up on me same thing ok that's it she goes to make pizza i can see here telling me she was busy witch they weren't but nothing just some young ding bat with no respect I will go to roseds from now on just close this place or get new help with all the bad reviews they getting why stay open

Around 11:20pm I placed an order online (directly on the Marcoās website) for pickup. They close at 12am on Friday Nights. I got there at 11:53pm and the lights were completely off and the door was locked. The employee came up to the door after I knocked on it and said they closed early and I could not get my order because it was already in the dumpster across the street. Disappointingā¦why accept my order, send me an email saying it was ready for pickup and then prematurely close? Bad customer service.

Ordered 2 pizza bowls , small pizza with pepperoni and mushroom and a brownie. I pick up the food take it home open the pizza box and I canāt even describe what it looked like! All the cheese was only on 1 side of the pizza and there was a part of the pizza that didnāt have sauce cheese or sides on it! So I take it back up there to have them remake another one for me , by the way my other food is at home getting cold! The guy says oh Iām not sure what this is! Iāll make u another one , it will be 10 min. I wait 10 minutes get the pizza go out to my car open the box and the he pizza only had pepperoni on it it was supposed to also have mushrooms on it. So I go back in and tell them I ordered pepperoni and mushroom , he says oh sorry I will give u credit to replace it for next time but he canāt figure out how to give me credit so he had to get someone else to help. After about another 10 min I said can u replace my full order since my other food is at home now cold! Lady says no Iāll give u credit for a small pizza with an attitude!! I never ever put reviews on any place I have ever gone to because itās not my thing but I was livid! How do u run a business like this , I go home tell my husband they didnāt put mushrooms on his pizza eat my cold pizza bowl and I will never again order from here again! Iām not even gonna use my free small pizza that they gave me credit for!! If u want good service with food that looks appealing donāt go here !!
