Me and my wife been going there over 25 years we went today and it was another amazing experience, great meal every time,The Staff is Awesome, Shay, Leslie,Alexis and the rest of Staff is Amazing, We will Never stop going there. Every Visit there is a A plus. If you never been there I suggest you give it a try.

Today was my first time ordering a carry out here. I got the 12 wing dings, coleslaw and large fries. When I got home and looked at the coleslaw I was like UH, but I tried a little bit and was disappointed it was like eating mush. The wing dings were broasted to hard and didn't look like it was fresh chicken wings. I couldn't finish them. The fries didn't have any taste as I had to put some seasoning on them for them to be edible. I was disappointed also because I spent $27 dollars for the meal and didn't get much of a taste of maybe four wing dings and a bit of fries. Needless to say I can strike this place off my list of first tries and will be my last.

I urge everyone to always check your takeout regardless of where or who. I normally do that because restaurants are not what they used to be, especially the ones you liked in the past, as in this case. I last purchased here a couple years ago, the delay is because it is all the way across town for me. It used to be great and i recommended it to everyone. But no more. I went against better judgement and received the order, took it home, and was totally disappointed. It was all bad. It was so bad I did not want to take it back for fear they would give me more. Nothing was cooked right, it looked gross. The slaw was mushy, the fish still looked wet, the chicken…I cannot describe it without using the most vulgar profanity. It was that bad. In the future I will spend elsewhere, hope your experience is better than what I was given. If I could do a Lamar Kendrick diss track I would, because the chicken really did taste like wood!

Judging by the past two reviews I feel that something has changed within the last week or so here at Mr Chicken on telegraph, it feels like they either switched distributors or just got lazy and decided to start serving frozen chicken tenders that you can get at any Coney island in the area, my mom and I were very disappointed because the week prior we had awesome chicken that looked like the pictures

Saw all the great reviews so I decided to try it for the first time. The portion size was great for the price but unfortunately my food was wet and soggy. I had to throw everything under the broiler when I got home. I only live 5 minutes from them so I don't understand this. I expect fried chicken to be crunchy. This was very disappointing

Old school! And just as good today as it has ever been! My family has been getting chicken here since the 80’s when I was a kid. This place is my yardstick. Whenever I get chicken or coleslaw anywhere else, it’s ALWAYS measured on a scale of “but how does it compare to Mr. chicken?”
Chicken is ALWAYS crispy on the outside and tender/juicy on the inside. And the coleslaw. I’ve never met it’s match. There’s just something special about Mr. Chicken’s coleslaw.
The broasted potatoes are great also.
You’ll be full and happy - and get extra because it’s awesome as leftovers, too!

We ordered the rib dinner with beans and coleslaw. What we got was baked ribs with barely enough sauce to cover them. Then we had 2 small sides to share which equaled about 3 tablespoons each. I called the Dearborn Heights store to ask about the small sides and they said that's what we get. Bad enough that we paid $30.00 but this is the last time for me going there. Grown people shouldn't have to share sides like that then there's a lot of baked ribs left, unbelievable !!!!

I used to come here a lot and the chicken was like caviar. This time I received excellent service and the worst chicken and french fry that I have ever had in my life. I think they needed to change the oil and the cook. The only word to describe it is. yuck!!!
I ordered a carryout, as the dining room was not open at the time, but the restaurant was very clean, neat, and tidy. The staff was very friendly, and my order was correct, fresh, and delicious!
