I had an amazing experience at the Canteen at the Terry Melt thanks to Ahmad, who provided truly exceptional service from start to finish. His hospitality, friendliness, and attention to detail made the entire visit stand out.
I ordered the cheese quesadilla and the Terry Melt steak sandwich, and both were incredible. The quesadilla was perfectly toasted with the ideal balance of crispy on the outside and gooey, melty cheese on the inside—simple, delicious, and so satisfying. The Terry Melt was even better: tender, flavorful steak layered with melted cheese and grilled to perfection. Every bite was packed with flavor, and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and prepared with care.
Ahmad made the experience even better. He greeted us warmly, offered great recommendations, and checked in to make sure everything was perfect. His kindness and professionalism elevated the whole meal.
Highly recommend stopping by and definitely ask for Ahmad—his hospitality and the food quality make this place a must-try!

I ordered the Steak Melt & Fries from The Terry Melt and it was a very satisfying meal. The sirloin steak was tender and flavorful, and the mix of onion, mushroom, and banana pepper added a nice balance of sweetness and spice. The swiss cheese tied everything together, giving it that perfect melty texture. The fries were crispy and fresh, making it a great side to the sandwich. The portion size was generous, and everything tasted freshly made. Overall, I would give it 4 stars because it was delicious, filling, and definitely worth trying if you enjoy hearty sandwiches with great flavor.

I ordered a chicken Greek salad, but it was served with iceberg lettuce instead of romaine and no onions. The individual who served me was extremely rude. Additionally, the chicken was not fully cooked. Save your money folks and go some else this here isn’t good.

What can I say about Terry’s? The food is amazing seriously one of the best melts you’ll ever try. Atmosphere fun and cozy in the service was amazing , I’ve been there twice already. I went there originally to try Amu Samy’s but their weait was like two hours. So I decided to try the Terry’s. I’m glad I did keep it up.

Visited the original Terry Melt and when it closed after going downhill, I imagined this new location would do better.
First off the mobile ordering system should have sped things up, but it took 45 minutes to get our order which was made wrong. Granted it was a weekday afternoon, with the entire canteen being near empty, I should have tapered my expectations I guess. Before mobile deliveries are brought into question; not a single ordered item was picked up during our wait. The staff didn’t bother calling names of finished orders and the automated system didn’t send a notification that our order was done. I personally got up and checked multiple times if the order was ready, only to see it sitting there getting cold on my final ask.
We waited 45 minutes for two melts with lukewarm sourdough, chicken with spicy mayo and stale fries; only to realize that one melt was somehow made incorrectly. After pointing out the inconsistencies the staff stated, “We can remake it but it’s going to take a while we’re busy”. To be clear, remake the one sandwich but not the fries. So either one guest has to eat and then wait for the other; or one guest has to let their food get cold and then also wait for the other’s order? How long were we supposed to wait another 45 minutes? You’re charging sit down resturant prices so the expectations are higher. The correct thing to do would have been to remake the entire order and expedite it.
The sanitary practices of this food truck should also be looked into. I witnessed one staff member use the same gloves to handle cash, pack food, play with his phone, swipe back his hair multiple times and walk to a car to get a bag of lettuce. Why are gloves not being changed? Why is fresh produce being stored in a hot car sitting in the parking lot next to the food truck?
Lastly since the owner of this food truck also is involved in the ownership of the Canteen itself, it would be wise to have the other staff empty the piled up garbage cans by the seating area. Nothing makes a long wait worst than the scent of hot garbage.

I wanted to visit the actual building and sit down for lunch but I guess they only have the food truck at the Canteen which was still amazing! Food was a 10 atmosphere 10 I will definitely be back!
