Please bring back the banquet ctr. Eric and that whole staff were amazing. The venue parking lot was terrible ? but this was our go to place for our Domestic Violence event. Food great! Service great!

Registered today as senior resident brings back fond memories.

Renovation is going great, course is looking a lot better! They have cart path around the entire course! I can’t wait until driving range and the rest of renovations are done!

This place should have been left to rot. Just walked nine holes today and I needed to have worn mud boots. There literally was not a semi-dry spot on the course. On top of that, slow play ruled. We took 2.5 hours to play nine holes on one of the shortest courses in the area. No rangers in sight, no cares given. The group in front of us was two plus holes behind pace.Last time they’ll see my money!

As I look back through my summer stats, I have found that I played here the most this summer. I was surprised! Great job with the renno! Staff is always top notch. Fun course at a fair price.

My friend enjoyed her golfing experience coming all the way from Nigeria. She was so excited and felt so good ?

Recovering under new management. We shall see how much they will get done by next season. Driving range under construction supposedly. Not a bad place to golf.

I finally had a chance to get out to play last week for the first time since renovations. It was very disappointing to see where the tee boxes have been moved to. The white tees are now where the reds used to be and the red tees are up way too far. I ended up playing from the white tees instead, since those were the locations I had always played from. I was under the impression they were trying to restore it to how it used to be but moving the tee boxes is nothing like how it's been for many, many years. I had hoped I might get back to playing in a league there but if a ladies league is going the play from the reds, it's makes the course way too short and it would not be fun at all. It's also very disappointing to hear that the full east course won't be re-opened. That was always my favorite side of the course. I've played here since I was a kid, so for over 50 years and I was really hopeful it was being restored to how it used to be back in the 60's, 70's and 80's. I'm very glad that the course was saved but sad to see that it won't really be going back to the original design after all. I know it will take time to get the fairways restored and all in all, they were not nearly as bad as they used to be and the greens were nice. Flooding will always be an issue since the course is in a flood plain. It's just a matter of how quickly it recovers after flooding. There are many other courses in this area that flood just as badly but once the water goes down, they are back in good shape. Hopefully Warren Valley will find the formula to be able to do the same.

Rough, and I'm not talking about the grass outside of the fairway. Greens were pretty nice though, pretty fast. But a real lack of grass everywhere aside of the greens. Playing off weeds & dirt just isn't a lot of fun. Will be a while before trying it again, maybe after all the renovations are done.

Very nice course for the price. Greens are in very good shape,

They did a great job renovating the course. The downside is they pack the course full of golfers which gives it a cheap golf course feel. Multiple times I had to wait 20+ minutes after my tee time to tee off. Expect 6+ hour round.

The course is getting better under these renovations. Although it still needs a lot of work. I love playing on this course but the staff does not know how to keep time between each group. I was given a 6:36pm tee time and there were 4 groups waiting on the front 9 and 4 on the back waiting to tee off other than those already on the course. Definitely nothing worth paying 24$ plus 3% convenience fee and I didn't get to finish 9 holes. Only was able to get through 4 and that's while rushing myself for the ones behind me to play. Only regret was not going back to get my refund and leaving at that point.

Donald Ross course for $18 walking?!?! Sure, twist my arm. Nice layout and maintenance, and the renovated portions of the course are fantastic. The clubhouse is currently under construction so bring your own snacks. The only criticism I can find would be some of the tee boxes and fairways need some TLC but given the scope of the renovation I can't let a few rough spots outweigh the courses merits.I guess the course is on the short side, but for me, an increased chance at GIR is not a bad thing, and the big hitters can use their 240 yard 7iron instead of their driver and still have fun. This course is just about the best value in golf in southeastern Michigan. Just wish I lived a bit closer to Dearborn.
