Location is literally never open
I ordered a delivery order last night as my son was sick and we didn’t feel like leaving the house. I kept tracking my order and after an hour of it “Still being built” I called the store only to get their voicemail 5 times over. There was no way to cancel my order on the app so unfortunately I had to pack up my sick son in the car and drive over there.
The lady looked mad when I walked in so instead of telling her I had an order, I told her I I had a DoorDash pick-up since that’s that they use for delivery in my area. She said she didn’t see any orders for the name I provided her in the rudest voice, like I didn’t know what I was talking about. I was being respectful. She then looked on her computer and saw it and got mad bc she had to make the order. Literally just 2 small turkey sandwiches. One only had turkey and cheese for my son. Not complicated at all.
So I sit down and wait with my son. After less than a few minutes she throws the bag on the counter and says “there ya go”. Never marked the delivery completed on her end so even today (the next morning) it still shows my order is being made.
Get in the car open my sandwich and this is what it looks like. Thrown together, carelessly made. I ordered double meat bc of a promo I had and there were TWO pieces of turkey in it. I am so upset and can’t get in touch with anyone to fix what she did and how she treated me.
Not to mention I got a drink while waiting and my son accidentally spilled it (he’s 3). Do you think she offered to help clean it since she had a mop and better materials to clean it with? No. Not at all. So my sick 3 year old son and I used tiny little napkins to clean it up off the floor. She of course sighing in the background.
I live in Decatur and this is the only food place to eat and I now refuse to ever go back there. This place just lost my service for good. I’d rather drive 15 miles to Paw Paw before going back and getting treated with such disrespect. This lady deserves to be fired.
Had a subway club. It's usually one of my favorites! Honestly, probably the worst sub I've had from Subway. The girl that made my sandwich was nice, but apparently she can't detect when a loaf of bread is as hard as a piece of concrete... Didn't realize this until I had gone a ways down the road to eat, and I had a work appointment to get to after lunch so I could not double back. Normally I throw out any leftover bread for the birds, but I threw it in the trash because I thought they might choke on it. Essentially, ate the meat and cheese with a fork (thankfully I had an extra in the car) on the wrapper after scraping off an excessive amount of mayo off of it (I asked for lite, but she put damn near double mayo, and I had to stop her from putting even more). Subway was the first place I worked. There's no way my boss would have ever let something like that go out the door without grilling me about quality. It's been a while since I've had a Subway sub, and it will probably be even longer now.
If I could give a no star review or a negative star review, I would. Too bad I can't.
It's a Saturday, around lunchtime and instead of being open like the sign says, they lock the doors to the public because they have no bread. Don't ya'll make your own bread...? Sounds like they don't have anyone that knows what they are doing. I got a dirty look, glared at for wondering why ya'll are closed when should be open? Don't worry, I'll never waste my time, or my money, at this Subaay location ever again. And I highly recommend you avoid it as well, unless you want to be irritated; as you will be leaving hungry.
They are way differently priced from other subways, this place is way over priced! And the only decent thing was their brocolli and cheese soup but they dont have it in summer what a waste! An not to mention when they did the lady would only fill the cup not even half way but a quarter of the way full! So she can take some for herself and she even complains about when I come to buy soup saying I wanted some! Ok?I'm the customer your the employee! Just ridiculous. There’s a big lady there that supposedly owns it now from mommy and daddy and she has a menu on her body she only gives 4-6 meatballs for your foot long and takes the rest for herself charging the regular price so she can get the food and still make sales she’s rude ignorant and rips customers off daily they also close whenever they feel like it at any given hour between noon-8pm they randomly close when it says 9pm or sometimes later on top of that their toaster oven doesn’t work and they still charge the same or you just don’t get what you want So I really think subway should take off their brand name from them and do something about them ruining their name because it makes them look bad. {REWRITE BELOW}->( 01/1/2025-17th AT ALL HOURS )-
tried to get food no answer it sounds like a regular phone, when they do answer they are extremely rude and lie about products they have saying it’s not in but I tested this several times both having my neighbors call and they tell them they have some in right when I’m on another phone or sending someone in right after I come out empty handed and they gave it to them I use to be their best customer their and quite a few times the last few times I went when I did get something there I got extremely sick FOOD POISONING! I was curled in a ball for a couple days vomiting and sweating nonstop and I’m disabled btw! my wife walked in one day and the lady in charge at the time told the woman at the register in a quick hushed manner that “Whatever she asks for tell her we are out”!
It’s ridiculous the subway brand is declining rapidly with quality quantity and customer service which is the Key factors for a great business to have and meticulously balance out.
Cup of broccoli soup was not even half of the bowl. Toaster didn’t work.
Only bread they had was white, wheat or flat. Had to tell the lady I wanted the outlaw Philly cheese steak 5 times. Still didn’t click I guess because she made me just a regular cheese steak. Asked to make it a meal and add on a 6 pack of cookies. Got done from checking out went to grab a cup and was told I didn’t ask for a meal. Good thing I don’t live around here and I only have to deal with this subway once in my life time. Not impressed at all.

I love this little shop. I like saving with the rewards. Chelsea was very familiar with the menu and helped me build the perfect sandwich .

The sandwich maker did not even know about the local favorite venue posted and charged me extra for a turkey ham. Did make it right but took a while to get him to see the venue posted then for him to figure out how to fix the price.

Multiple occasions they’re either out of ingredients or have “broken” equipment. I’ve lived right around the corner for about a year now and almost every time I’ve gotten food here it’s been made incorrectly and when I return to have it fixed it’s due to lack of ingredients or broken machinery. And on more than one occasion I’ve witnessed non employee personnel behind the counter or in the kitchen area while I’m having an order fixed. Maybe if it was run like a business and not a high school classroom a sandwich could be made properly once in a while

Food bad, service bad, atmosphere bad... The remodel month ago didn't boost sales. The owner is a cheap penny pinching prude who likes to rip people off. She is to cheap to even get a new toaster oven. She is so cheap she put 6 meatballs on a footlong sub when there is 8 meatballs. She keeps peoples money for online orders then cancels their orders. She is definitely not worthy of the subway franchise nor is she worthy of being an owner none the less an employee. Very poor customer relations. Also no one at the Decatur Michigan location ever answers the phone . VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Also all of the food is not fresh wilted veggies sour meatballs. This is what happens when your to cheap and cut costs.

Screw this subway. They canceled my online order I placed 2 hours in advanced and 2 min before It's supposed to be done. Not a way to run the business. And also if you don't want your customers to have an attitude with you. Don't ignore them when they try to show you the confirmation and the proof you charged us and haven't got the money back

I live locally, and I like to do business with local merchants. The last 3 times I've been into this store there are always problems. Today was the straw that broke the camels back . I ordered a protein bowl . With chicken salad. The girl who I believe to be the manager asked me if I wanted the rotisserie chicken right after I told her chicken salad . The spinach looked old and wilted , then I asked her to cut up the tomatoes in quarters. Instead she just tore them up with her hands . She put on the last few soggy pieces of green pepper. Then as I asked for 2 cookies and told her what I wanted she had to ask again in less then 5 seconds. I gave an exasperated sigh . Then she made a rude comment.
This is Poor customer service in my opinion.

Placed an online order for two subs. Waited the allotted time and went to pick up. Waited for 15 minutes in line only to be told they were not making the sandwiches and we're canceling online orders. The restaurant had run out of bread already at 11:45 in the morning. Then refuse to give an immediate refund.
