This is very much a simple neighborhood bar, with old school, food service, bar food. They apparently don't try to be any thing more.
If one has a car there are a lot of other options within driving range
Buddies is always a fun place to go to! I feel like Buddies is Holts Cheers. The food is always good, the staff is attentive. It doesn't matter what size group you come with, they can always accommodate!

Great food both times. My 1st visit I had the wet burrito and it is yummy. Server was great and bar tender was amazing, she made a bomb lemonade adding tequila. 2nd time there were 2 lady waitresses and the 1 was ok the other very nasty attitude and dirty looks, makes you wonder if being in Holt irritated her …. Ya know Sundown town feeling.
