Chef puts out a great menu. Dessert and all.
My husband and I have been going there for years. The food is outstanding. I have not had one meal there that I did not absolutely love. I highly recommend the brisket fried rice. I also have to say that is the best Gyro I’ve had in a long, long time. Please if you’ve never been, you must give this little gem of a place a try.
Best place to eat or drink in town.
We ate there for the first time 1/17/25. It was amazing. Way above our expectations. They were packed. The service was great. The food was awesome. The prices were reasonable. The desserts we saw coming out were so fancy. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Tujax Tavern.
This is that home town one of a kind spot you take family and friends to when they are in town. The food is incredible and very consistent. They have a regular menu that is full of the common bar scene menu, above average execution and what you'd expect from a place that stays in business, on that menu is the best Reuben you will ever have. The real show however is on the unassuming paper menu where chef Hunter keeps it both interesting and impressive. If you go to the Facebook page typically around 3pm you can get an idea of what's on the menu that day, sometimes the special will stick around for a few days but act fast if it's something that peaks your interest because it won't be there for long. That menu has produced some of the best meals I've ever had the pleasure of eating in my life. The servers are exactly what you want them to be, real people and for as packed as tujax gets they really manage it well. The atmosphere is cozy, a bar with character and typically a crowd of food enthusiasts and the occasional car show after party (Wednesdays). There is a rack of fresh homemade sourdough bread and various cookies that are worth grabbing for home. I find myself torn between wishing this place the most success and hoping
they can expand someday to fearing a change would ruin what this place has going for it. I've eaten at Michelin stared restaurants, this place deserves one more than some of those, it's the definition of a restaurant worth a detour to check out.
Kid-friendliness: There are a few high chairs and a claw machine with stuffed animals.

I'm drooling writing this thinking of their food. I can't even tell you my favourite, it is all so good! Delton's best kept secret.
Google wants me to update this review (months later)
Can I give this place 10 stars yet? Review is the same. Still my favourite place to go to eat. Get the word out so it is not a secret anymore. If you have never been here, GO!! And thank me later!

The place is kinda small and tight but the food and drinks were good. Packed with ppl and service was fast enough but not super kind. Good hole in the wall for drinks and food but avoid rush hour

My husband and I frequently have dinner here on the weekend. It’s a dive bar for sure BUT the waitstaff is attentive and friendly. (We sure miss Jilly) There is always a special menu on the weekends as well as their regular menu. Regular menu favorites- great burgers and pizza. Asparagus pizza in the spring is OUTSTANDING. Special menu- crème brûlée is better than any high dollar restaurant we have been to. Yes, I said crème brûlée at Tujax. Tuna steaks are also FANTASTIC. I had the very best tuna steak EVER last night!!! Don’t let exterior or interior appearances fool you. This place is the BOMB.

The wife and I had Wednesday night dinner and had really good meals. For the quality and quantity of each meal, we thought the prices were right in line. Service was friendly, timely and helpful, as this was our first time there.
