Porter’s catered our wedding and they were AMAZING. Our guests were raving about the food, especially the queso at cocktail hour and the smoked pulled pork and smoked chicken thighs. I also love the smoked Mac n cheese. Theresa and her team are rock stars - they had everything under control from set up to tear down, and packing up leftovers. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Throughout the planning process she answered all of my (many) questions promptly and made me feel so confident and taken care of. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a catering company with great food, great service, and great value.

Outstanding BBQ in the middle of nowhere 😁 Brisket was on point. Smokey, juicy, and very tender. BBQ ribs were fall off the bone delicious. The Brisket burger was destroyed by my Son. Nachos were great. The brisket sandwich with queso cheese was yummy. Call ahead cause they could run out of your favorites. I would put this place up against KC, STL, and some TX BBQ. So yummy 😋

Best ribs around. Good BBQ sauce, can buy to take home. Great tacos, which are often our go-to. Eat-in (can be a little noisy) or takeout; outdoor picnic tables available. Hours are unusual, so check when they're open. Reasonably priced. Worth the half- hour drive for us.

We have ordered the #1 Combo from Porters at least 15 times. 14 times it has been big portions and a excellent taste experience. Unfortunately, the last time was a different story. The portions for the pulled pork, brisket, and the sausage were the same and tasted wonderful as always. But the 3 ribs (which have always been large and very meaty) were a joke! By anybody's standards. I wish I could post a picture I took. They were at most 2 1/2 inches long, 2 inches wide and were those end pieces that are double bone/cartilage with almost no meat. Personally the ribs are my favorite so I was really bummed. If you guys have new people in the kitchen, get them up to speed. If you're running out of stuff let me know in advance, don't hand off the scrubby ends and expect me to be happy about it.
2nd time I've been here. It is off the main roads but worth the extra time. Food was great. People were nice.

Brisket taco with crispy fried onion was really good but the pulled pork taco was fabulous. The cilantro slaw and the jalapeno in the taco were perfectly balanced to enhance without overpowering. The brisket sandwich with queso was great with just a hint of spicy to it. The mac and cheese with bacon was very smokey and the cheesy potatoes with ham were tasty and generously portioned. Beverage choices were canned sodas and bottled water, possibly due to operating only Thu-Fri-Sat. Nine to ten tables for indoor dining and several picnic tables outdoors. Great food, we will be back for more, especially for takeout.
