This is my new favorite barbecue place in West Michigan. It’s quite a hall for me. About 40 minutes. But it hands down, beats any of the chain barbecues and typically the good barbecue places in the Grand Rapids area do one thing well and everything else is OK. I had smoked chicken thighs and ribs. Really enjoyed Porters smokehouse, everything from the pulled pork and pulled brisket to the barbecue ribs and their housemade barbecue sauce.Porter's had just the right amount of smoke and moisture. From the clean and well-kept dining area, to the convenience of a drive-thru. Highly recommend this barbecue restaurant.
