Foundry Craft Grillery Reviews
We have had great service here in the past and great food. They even made a special pasta for my granddaughter. But last night was a disaster. They were out of so many options on the menu. Menu
Foundry Craft Grillery has new management and chefs, making a great impact on the dining experience. The restaurant features a very industrial atmosphere, but it is warm and inviting, with large windows that bring in plenty of light. The menu includes several delicious dishes, such as sliders with beer cheese, fried asparagus, and the standout Grease Monkey Grilled Cheese, which is a Michigan sourdough topped with mac 'n' cheese, hickory smoked bacon, house made garlic aioli, a blend of cheese, and sweet dried cherries. This unique item is described as a sweet and savory treat, and the fries served with it are also very good. The Classic Burger is another highlight, perfectly cooked to Medium Rare and declared delicious.
Service at Foundry Craft Grillery is reported to be very good, with friendly and efficient staff. Customers have noted that even when short-staffed, the team ensures all guests are taken care of promptly. The beer selection meets expectations, although some feedback suggests an area for improvement in music volume and consistency across the restaurant. However, the oven-baked, deep-fried wings remain the star of the menu, with a special spice that many declare makes them the best wings they have ever had. Overall, the restaurant offers a lot of unique and delicious sounding items, making it a place customers look forward to returning to.
Recent reviews show that groups of various sizes find the restaurant accommodating, with no trouble getting a table, even on busy nights. The staff, especially servers like Olivia, receive praise for their friendly and attentive service, which enhances the overall experience. Customers enjoy the food presentation and taste, though some found the cookie dessert a bit overpriced and slightly overcooked. Others appreciated the quick walk from the marina for those arriving by boat. Dishes like chicken tacos, fish sandwich, and street corn dip received high praise, and many customers leave highly satisfied and eager to return.
