New owners have ruined the place. Anyone who’s had past experience knows. Drinks are terrible. They can’t keep employees to save their lives because they treat them so bad. Safety hazards throughout the property and feces from the birds that they don’t clean up. The only people you’ll see here anymore are people on vacation that don’t know any better. They’re hanging off of the good reputation of previous owners. Last summer the service was so bad it took almost an hour to get a beer. They’re always out of stock with the little things they do offer. Music is awful. Food is average at best and overpriced. Too many issues to list. Bring back the previous owners that actually knew what they were doing. At least you can get a table now due to nobody wanting to go here anymore.

Tried to go at 7pm and they were already closing up and just stared at us like we were dumb as if they weren’t closing 3 hours early
Unimpressed. Was super excited to check this place out since the location is beautiful but was left disappointed. Restaurant was chaos upon arrival, table was covered in ketchup amongst other things, there was no sign of any servers whatsoever amongst the chaos so my husband attempted to order at the bar (to no avail, as it was packed) during which a server finally came up to me and asked if we’d been served. I said no and we ordered with her. Margarita was the worst I’ve ever had, which was to be expected at a beach bar. I understand they’re too busy to be mixing actual drinks back there, but this thing tasted completely of sour mix and sour mix only. Ordered the shrimp basket and upon delivery our server informed us that they were out of cocktail sauce….. which would have been nice to know prior to getting the food as I likely would have changed my order. They were also out of salt? Ordered a second drink to make up for the terrible first one only for the server to come back again to tell me they were out of that draft beer and only had one left on tap. The server was friendly and kind, the only redeeming quality here. I’m not blaming her for any of this whatsoever. Establishment seems very poorly managed overall, so much wasted potential.

You know how a place is such a good idea and you have amazing memories of going there so you keep going back even though the service is worse and worse every time you go? That’s Bikini’s. Gorgeous view, amazing music, not enough staff. Go, but order a bucket from the bar so you have a few rounds on hand. Tip well, it’s not the servers’ fault this place is poorly managed. Remember it’s the only bar on the beach, keep your cool and go with the flow. But eat before you go or the hanger will build while you wait to order and be served and you’re going to take it out on someone who doesn’t deserve it. Ask me how I know. Anyway, I’ll be back, because like an old boyfriend who doesn’t give me the attention I crave, I can’t quit Bikini’s.

The location is beautiful. When coming back and learning of the horrid stories of what happened to the staff… and how the owners tried fighting customers the first holiday weekend… made the choice easy not to come back. Seen a few familiar faces that was nice but all around the drinks are horrible now… the food used to take forever to come out but tasted ok… now it’s both. Unpleasant experience and it’s easy to see why other places such as barnies and now the bowling alley are reigning supreme. A real shame of what once was a favorite place to visit.
