Did not get a chance to try the food - called in the afternoon before they were open, wanted to reserve a table for 12 - was told that they do not accommodate parties over 6, I was promptly disconnected. Did not even try to attempt to resolve, as they could have easily seated 2 parties of 6 separately. Took my business elsewhere.

We stayed in Oscoda at a Bed & Breakfast for our anniversary and this was listed as the only “fine dining” spot in the area. They were out of a handful of things which is understandable after a weekend. Our entrees took over an hour to come out. Our server, Iz was not apologetic whatsoever and just kept saying it’ll be out soon. When we finally got it, the rice was crunchy and hard. So undercooked. The veggies were cold and wilted as well, like they got nuked in the microwave and then left out too long. We were just puzzled what took so long, and then why it came out like that!
My husband liked the escargot, otherwise this place was truly awful.
We will go back home to celebrate our anniversary with a nice dinner.
The manager was nice and agreed the food looked pretty bad. She didn’t make us pay for our entrees and offered us some dessert to go, but we were ready to just go back to our place. We were happy they at least made the situation right, but I’d skip this place!

The waitress was very nice but her listening skills were not great. My husband's request for medium well. Was brought out medium rare. We loved everything else Strange getting a chicken dish is a salad bowl difficult to cut into when not on a plate. INFORMED A NEW CHEF!.
I was checking out the reviews to see if I should bring my family here since we are currently on vacation. The owner's replies tells me everything I need to know. If you're going to be so incredibly nasty to people complaining about being turned away due to not having reservations, maybe you should PUT IT ON YOUR WEBSITE!

Walked in to someone walking up saying immediately, no we can not accommodate you. The reason we got was they dont have space. Mind you there were maybe 12 people total in the restaurant with plenty of space! We were a table of 7 so yes we understand we could have been alot BUT isnt that your job? And we would have made up for it in the tip.
