It is super rare that I give bad reviews. I understand that life happens. Tonight my wife and I drove an hour to come here for our birthday dinner. Hers was last week my is next week. upon arrival we were met with a packed restaurant. however we were the only ones waiting. we decided to have a dinner on the deck. While we were waiting they brought out the papers and we got the first one. The place was filling up. We helped ourselves to the bar while we waited. after we got half way through our drinks, a couple showed up next to us and ordered a drink. we then after a 45 minute wait got another drink. we were having a great time. T he couple that came in 20 minutes after us had their pager go off and were led outside to a deck table. I was a little concerned as we got the first pager of the night. When we asked what happened, we were told by the waitress that the lady in the other party yelled at them and insisted they be seated before us. I asked to speak to a manager and while he was very nice, the best answer he had was we open at 11am tomorrow. Bro, I drove an hour because we had heard good stuff. I am sad that people are so out of touch with being nice that they don't care about others feelings. As a First Responder, I put everyone before me. I wish the restaurant the best and I sure wish I could have enjoyed a birthday dinner with my wife.

Was visiting my BFF and she had never eaten here. We were blown away! I had Chilean Sea Bass and the price was great before the 20% off fish entrees discount because of it being Friday. My BFF had an Almond Old Fashioned and she loved it. I had an espresso martini that was just as good as the one I had at a fancy italian restaurant in Troy, MI. She had the alfredo with chicken. It was great! Chicken we prepared perfectly and the sauce was really good! I also had the creme brulee and it was yummy! Would eat here again and again. Fun and not stuffy but excellent food!

We went on a Saturday night. I noticed only two employees, a bartender and a waitress. Never saw a manager. The atmosphere has a very old bar smell. I like the attempt at making it feel like an upper class big city speakeasy BBQ type joint but it fell hard on environmental concerns. Food was not as advertised for how they present the place. Broccoli was undercooked and had no flavor. The sweet potato was burnt and tasted like it was in a charcoal fire pit. The perch was ok, K of C hall quality on a Lent Friday. My girlfriend's lasagna was undercooked noodles but the brisket was good. My lemonade tastes like it came off a dusty shelf made with Grandma's well water on galvanized pipes. Would not eat here yet it's definitely not a place I'd recommend ordering the $119.00 Waygu from. Would not trust the chefs here to prepare it correctly. The waitress was awesome. People leaving good reviews about the food are probably from the local area and used to McDonald's being a fancy restaurant.

Employees running in the door at same time as restaurant opens, not paying attention to customers, instead making and trying drinks at the bar and talking about how much they drank the night before, floor and seats littered and broken, steak half medium and the rest rare. Sorry but this was an honest review letting you know that customers notice these things, you can do better !!!

We have been to this restaurant a few times in the high season and it was great. Now that the season is over everything has gone down especially the service. Very disappointing

My husband and I stopped here for our anniversary dinner on a Friday night. We were seated inside (patio was full) after only waiting 5 minutes. The space was welcoming, the chairs were cozy, and it wasn't too loud. We enjoyed wine and a cranberry bourbon sour along with the chicken marsala sandwich with truffle fries and the looking glass burger with fries.
The staff were very friendly, timely, and attentive. We will definitely be going back, and hopefully, we will get a patio spot. We even had a beautiful view of the moon.

The food was quite lack luster. When having steaks at a steakhouse that boasts 30 days aged beef and there is absolutely no flavor. I feel I could have purchased a better cut of meet at the grocery store and cooked it myself and it would have been 1000% better! We came up to Tawas to celebrate my birthday and were looking to have a nice steak dinner and the only thing nice was the view of the lake and the wine. There was absolutely no seasoning on anything. Salt couldn’t even help it. Think twice before you spend your money here.

Had an amazing meal. Crab guacamole served ceviche style a Lobster BLT and a great wine selection. Even had a chance to talk to the owner who was out helping the staff anywhere needed. Her mom was the host and husband was in the back making the amazing food. I'm sad I live an hour away otherwise that would be my go to spot. Until Next time guys keep on Rocking.

This was the most incredible dining experience. First, the view is amazing! We sat outside and overlooked the lake. Second, the staff and service were so polite and kind. Third, the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. I would come back here again and again!
