Made reservations on valentines day because we were staying at the hotel for the weekend. Went to bar before dinner for a drink. Sat at bar for 15 minutes before anybody acknowledged that we were even sitting there. Was taken to our table and was told someone would be right with us. Took 10 minutes to hear from anyone. Then ordered a glass of wine and a beer. 20 minutes later still no drinks. Talked to hostess about service and she went to another table and talked to them. Had to make a scene to get anything done for us. Finally got drinks 35 minutes later and asked to place food order. Was told they ran out of food on the valentines menu. So we got up and went to north woods steakhouse. Excellent food and service. Will never return to hotel and restaurant.

Update, 12/2024: Last time there, service was very slow, prices change every time you get a beverage! Been a while since I time I got food,, it was okay. And now single!

8 Years ago: Been going to Topsider's for a while, always great food and service! And the bar has dancing some weekends! Don't forget the Bikini Bar during the summer.

Very disappointing. Food was just ok. Small portions. Waitress didn't understand the menu. She may have been new.

Booked a table for 13 family members to celebrate our sons engagement. Things started going south quickly when the initial drink orders were incorrect or missing. Food delivery was fast for those in our party who ordered simple dishes. While everyone was eating, both father in laws and the bride to be still had not received their meals. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed in general. The food-warm if lucky. There was a wedding reception being held in another room so maybe they had priority in service and food quality over ours? Overall-a big disappointment. Go for the view, that's it.

The worst service ever. No water, nothing after 20 minutes. There was 4 other people in the restaurant.

Specifically chose this restaurant because it was the only waterfront option opened. Kind of wish I went to McDonalds instead.

The restaurant itself was clean, but a cold 64° which was uncomfortable especially when you expected to be able to sit outside on one of the two patio seating areas. Which was the other disappointment, we weren't allowed! We were the only of two tables even present (around 3pm), the waitress said "she wasn't seating outside so she wouldn't get overwhelmed". This didn't start the experience off great but we could deal, right?

Well, as the saying goes "you get what you pay for". We got the Atlantic Cod, side salad and Brussel Sprouts and the Chicken Tenders, fries, and cheesy potatoes. They serve a bread upon arrival. Needless to say the bread and the salad were my favorite part. The cod was flavorless, the brussel sprouts were not tasteful and looked like they were steamed and then warmed up again. The chicken tenders looked like they were burnt in the air fryer and were dry and the potatoes looked and tasted like they were last night's dinner warmed up too.

I'm a sucker for a restaurant with a view and this view didn't disappoint it's a real shame literally everything else did.

Full disclosure: at the time the rating was a 3.8 star, so I knew it was a leap of faith.

My friend and I sat down for lunch and were completely ignored. Meanwhile, a party who arrived five minutes after us was given menus and got their order taken. We waited a total of fifteen minutes for menus but were never even spoken to by the staff. Needless to say, we left without ordering.

We were a party of 5 on Friday night. The server Olivia dropped the ball on service & the kitchen dropped the ball on our meal. The sirloin was well done instead of rare. The vegetables were room temp. The chicken tenders were eaten before we received the honey mustard. We never saw a " manager". We only saw our server when she delivered the check?
