Waterfront restaurant, great views of the water from everywhere. Excellent service and the food was awesome! I can’t believe the place isn’t packed. I think the word needs to get out. Had a Cuban sandwich with grilled bread and a nice side salad with homemade raspberry vinaigrette. My folks split a Reuben and ordered the cheesy potatoes…. Yum!! Spread the word, the servers and cooks need and deserve the business!!Vegetarian options: A few varied options

really good! was put off a bit by the low-star reviews, but decided to give it a try anyway. Went on a Monday evening in March, so definitely the off-season, and it was pretty dead inside. service was really fast, and our orders came out quickly. sitting by the window provided a nice view of the bay, which was a great atmosphere. I got the cuban sandwich, which was great, and a pretty good sized portion, with nice and crispy fries. overall, would definitely recommend ignoring some of the negative reviews and trying this place.

First time there for date night and it was fantastic! First off, let me tell you about our waitresses, Abbie. She was the only wait staff working the six or so tables of 4. (We were the only table of 2) It seemed as if each table had it's own personal waitress cuz Abbie was so attentive. She also knew the menu front to back. To drink we had an Elderberry Fizz, which the bartender wasn't shy on vodka. It was good ?. Stuffed jalapeno poppers wrapped in bacon with a raspberry drizzle made for an excellent appetizer! For the entree we both had the New York Strip, rare. It was seared perfectly on the outside and warm and pink all the way through. The side salad was great, no tomatoes, but it did come with croutons and cucumbers. I like tomatoes but I didn't miss them. The potatoes were pretty good too. For dessert we had the cheesecake, and when Abby asked us if we wanted the raspberry drizzle or the chocolate drizzle we said both of course! She said no problem. We will definitely be going back! It was very affordable too! We even took a piece of cheesecake home to Grandma for 7 bucks. Our whole meal was under a hundred!

My husband and I stopped here for lunch with our two younger children and truly enjoyed our experience. Our waitress Olivia was very friendly and attentive, the food was good, and the atmosphere and view were both lovely. Solid beer selection as well! We will definitely be back when we visit Tawas during the summer!

Ate there for lunch and ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries. The pork tasted like fish and microwaved, the fries were way over cooked and hard. My friend ordered the muscles, very bland and French onion soup which was also very bland and had about 2 pieces of onion in it. Never will eat here again, McDonald's has better quality.

The food was terrible. The mussels came out in a bowl of garlic water which completely soaked up in the bread making it now inedible. The French onion soup was just soggy bread with no flavor. The pulled pork sandwich tasted like it was cooked with fish and the fries were way to over cooked.

Best place ever, food is high quality, chef prepared, service is over the top!The staff and owners make you feel like family.Vegetarian options: Not on the bandwagon 100%>It's about seasonal demand. But the staff does their utmost best, to help you choose alternatives.Dietary restrictions: They are 110% on top of food allergies, recalls, and customer requests for deletions.Kid-friendliness: It is located on Beautiful Tawas Bay.The front of the building is actually on the beach. Need I say more?

Had the breakfast buffet very disappointing!! Food was sub par probably better if it wasn't sitting out drying up for hours. Had to find my waitress to be sat, order drinks and pay!!! Very unacceptable!! While walking up to the buffet I seen the big girl from behind hotel reception walk over and pull bacon and sausage out with her fingers right off the buffet ???? never again and will not recommend to ANYONE!!!

Where do you go for both good food and a great time in East Tawas? The Bayside! I love love love this place, and Im not even a local. Came here during one of the most important days of the year, the Michigan/Ohio State game. Our group of 4 ordered 3 salads, and grilled cheese sangwich with soup, and the food was excellent! Our chef KENDRA was amazing, the salads were perfect. Not too much dressing, and I took a chance by not ordering any dressing on the side. My wife ordered dressing on the side but it was not necessary. The grilled cheese was perfect, crispy bread with melty cheese. Our server Kasey was very attentive and great, took super good care of us. Will definitely be back!

One of the best cooked steaks I’ve had from here. Perfectly done medium rare, potato wasn’t anything special but the Brussels sprouts were to die for. Very nice presentation as well. The kitchen knocked it out of the park.
