2 girls working last Saturday were talking amongst themselves. I had to wait at the counter for quite some time. I did the awkward throat clearing thing to get some attention.

The best place for homemade chocolates around. You can build you own box of chocolates or buy a premade selection. Two bit truffles! Better gifts come from local shops.

Great place for some really good hand made chocolates. I do not go up to East Tawas often, but this last time we went in to see what they had a They have a great selection, and staff is friendly and helpful. Absolutely love the milk chocolate that they use. Will be getting more next time I'm in town!

Love this place. The variety of chocolates are very good. Pricing is getting pretty steep though.

Sorry, but I cannot give a good review and here is why... I was very excited to get to try the dairy free 70% chocolates. We came on Sunday. They were out of the kind that had dried cherries and I asked if they had any more. The girl looked at the ladies in the kitchen and said, I don't think so. She waited on the person ahead of me and then she skipped me and asked the person behind me what they wanted. We came to Tawas to get dairy free chocolates for me! The lady behind me ordered tons of stuff. I was never acknowledged beyond when I asked about more chocolates. So we left. We won't waste our time coming back.

Just happened to stumble across this place while in Tawas. We bought an assortment of different chocolates. Surprised that it didn't cost more than it did for such great tasting, home made chocolates.

Delicious chocolates and candies! One of my favorite was the chocolate covered honeycomb and the bear paw. It has a whole old fashion feel to it and the service was great.

while their chocolates for humans are fine, they are selling milkbones covered in peanut butter and... white chocolate?! when I asked the employee what was on them, she told us "white chocolate and peanut butter", to which i replied "dogs can have white chocolate..?". she told me "they just can't have cocoa". sadly, this is incorrect, it is not in fact the cocoa that poisons dogs, it is theobromine. while white chocolate has lower amounts than milk/dark, it still is TOXIC to all dogs. run the other way from this shop. if they're willing to openly poison dogs, who knows what they actually put in their chocolates.do better. if i could give zero stars i would.

They have a wide variety of chocolates, candy and fudge. The service is excellent. May I recommend their coconut clusters.

I noticed this chocolate shop while driving past town on our way to the campground, so we stopped by to pick up some treats. The 2 year old in our group was delighted by the candy and loved the chocolate covered raspberries. I was interested in the chocolate covered snacks they had - Pringles, potato chips, nuts, etc. - but the one that caught my eye quickest was the chocolate covered nacho cheese Doritos! I've never seen that anywhere else so we definitely had to try them. They were unique and not bad at all. I would've preferred a thinner layer of chocolate, and they were pricey for a small bag, but it was fun to try and gives us something to recreate at home if we want. Some people in our group commented on the customer service being a bit pushy and brusque, but I didn't really notice. The shop itself is packed full of different chocolates, gifts, and other candy and could get a bit crowded. They also serve coffee drinks. There are a couple of small tables inside but it's definitely more of a to-go spot.
