I found the owner to be rude and unapproachable. I tried the fried chicken dinner. The portion sizes are good however I found the chicken to be a lot of batter and not much flavour. The greens and Mac and cheese were good. But for $30 a meal would probably not go again.

Really wanted to try this place.. Stood there for a bit.. No menus out rang the bell a couple times.. No one was there too bad smelled good inside lol ( I came in Saturday around 2p I believe) I think next time I am in the area I will call ahead to pickup. Thanks for the response.

This food is so good, she makes a different meal daily and today I walked into ox tails rice and beans, Mac and cheese, greens, cornbread, she had chocolate cake for desert and ice cream. Also a kool aid. I enjoyed this meal so much I can't wait to tell my mama about it lol. It was like a Sunday visit to Grandma's house for dinner. 5 stars all the way, my only thing is the cornbread should have some honey and butter added but regardless of that I still give her food 5 stars, it was so much delicious flavor in those oxtail rice n beans, and that Mac 😋 I want her to bring this to my family function.

Went for fried green tomatoes only for my son and I. They looked delicious we were excited but we did not love them. The breading and seasoning over powered the taste of the green tomatoes. The breading was so thick! My mom makes them but she's almost 83 with bad knees so I didn't want to ask her. $20 for something we couldn't even finish. Will try another dish but never the green tomatoes again.

This was my first time trying out the restaurant. I plan on coming back. The gumbo was delicious and came out hot. It was still at a good temperature when I got back to work to eat it. She has three levels for the gumbo there's the basic which I think is about $27. There's the middle of a shrimp and it's $45, and finally the top tier level that has crab legs. I'm not sure how much that one cost. $45 was a bit steep but I cannot deny that it was a delicious meal. I know she's taking a big chance it's a small operation just her. There is no set menu she focuses on cooking one thing each day. One thing I appreciate is that she asked if I had any food allergies before she took my order. There is no seating inside the restaurant besides a couple of chairs to wait for your order to come up this is a carry out only establishment.

I was craving soul food after my match today so I stopped at By Felicia. I asked for a menu and the lady mentioned that she doesn’t have a menu, she only has 1 thing per day. As soon as she mentioned pork chops, I got a little bit excited. The wait wasn’t long at all. She informed me that the Kool Aid was gonna be sweet. I smiled and walked to my car. I tried to Kool Aid and the Corn Bread. Those are usually my yay or nays. Kool Aid was on the sweeter side but not as crazy as some of the other ones I’ve tried. The cornbread was (yes “WAS” because I finished half of itbefore I got home) good. It wasn’t too soft or too firm but it is on the firmer side of things but not to the point where you’ll need to drown it butter to swallow.
Now the entree plate, I received greens, Mac and Cheese, and smothered pork chops. The greens are good! The Mac and Cheese is GREAT! The pork chops, the star of the show, is soft and the sauce/gravy tasted great. There’s also stuffing and mashed potatoes! It was really delicious
You also get cake or pie and I got pie! It was really good!
With the serving I received, I have enough food to last me 2-3 meals! Glad a stopped here instead of heading to my go-tos

I grew up eating my mother’s food and always thought no one can top her but this is great ! I’ll see you tomorrow ?!

Ms Felicia you can cook I really don't mess with everyone cooking because I'm a cook myself my mom definitely taught me well your Mac and cheese delicious. one thing lighten up on the salt the ribs was beautiful you definitely can throw down I will definitely be back I understand your name just lower your salt intake because you have diabetic people with high blood pressure coming to you and we definitely know how the seasiong go. She's definitely worth it her Mac and cheese Ms Felicia you did that thank you I didn't have to cook today we all ate good can't wait to taste your oxtails thank you so much❤️❤️❤️???
