This place is disgusting, from the food to the customer service to management. Last night I went into the drive thru, upon ordering my food the woman taking the order rudely and repeatedly would say “I can’t hear you, I can’t hear you”. Then approaching the window the woman continued being unapproachable, and lacked customer service. When I got home with my 5 pc combo, I bite into a hard and old piece of chicken, disgusting. I called to the store sharing my distain with the manager, and he was rude as well, then hung up with phone. Which would then be described, from the woman at the counter, as a “lost of connection”. She then said “you on your way or what”, I was confused thinking she wasn’t talking to me so I asked and she said “yes”. So I hung up and went up to the store, going inside with my disgusting order she proceeded to take my combo and give it the “manager”, he checks it out then what looks like refried my same pieces of chicken. Waiting on my order, 2 more individuals came in stating their order was wrong. 1 customer said that his food was nasty and old and gave it to his dog. The 2nd brought back 2 containers of food stating they weren’t cooked throughly, and taking a bite of chicken. The manager said “well did you ask for them to be fried hard”. But the woman proceeded to take his food BACK to the manager, stating “can you drop this again”. Refrying contaminated food is vile. When I received my food I didn’t even want to eat it, after seeing those unsanitary conditions. Having a no refund policy is crazy, that’s why the store is still open, there’s no financial consequences. I called the next morning hoping to speak to a manager, he said “I am one”, hearing the voice of the manager last night, I said “what’s your name”. He said “uh it’s Robert”, when last night I heard the woman call him Jason. This establishment is a joke.

Tonight I had some fried chicken so excited that excitement was quickly turned into disappointment when the service from the time I was placing my order and the lady taking the order wasn't friendly all the way to me getting home and taking a bite out of my chicken and it was old and hard. I called back up to the restaurant and asked for the manager I spoke to him and voiced my issue telling him the chicken was hard and tasted old and his response was did you ask for it hard no I didn't he said you coming back to get some more food I was like wow yes I will in the middle of me talking he hung up on me and I called back and a lady answered and I said did he just hung up on me and she said she was sorry the phone hung up then I came back and the lady handed the order to the manager and he took it which is cross contamination it should have been thrown away immediately it looked like all he did was refried some of my chicken and they have a nerve to say no refund they will fix the order I am nervous about eating it now I will never come back to this caption Jay's again

Extremely disappointed. It's been gradually going downhill, but today, was beyond disappointing. Waited 40 minutes past the estimated pickup time. When I got to the car to check my food, the shrimp was almost Frozen. The box was cold, like they had previously cooked it put it in the refrigerator and then tried to pass it off on me. I Went back in waited for the "So called Manager" she didn't even bother to acknowledge me. When I asked, Are you the manager? She then responded, we're cooking you more shrimp. I stated okay, by the time I get home the rest of my food's going to be cold. . Captain Jay's used to be my favorite chicken place. I will never spend another dollar on that crappy disappointing downgraded food. DISCUSTING. Never AGAIN. SHAME ON ALL Y'ALL

Tonight I went to captain jay’s in the drive -thru and the lady didn’t know how to spilt are meals we only had two 15 piece traditional BBQ wings and plus she didn’t know how to give us are changes back. And plus the ranch was Nasty🤢!!!. And on top of that my sister only had 9 pieces of chicken in her container and we ordered 15pieces so for that I won’t never get any food from there again😡😡😡

The lemon pepper on the chicken is CRACK!!! It will have you hooked. The koolaid is syrup. Service is great. Chicken wings are baby wings. And the fried legs are great though.

Ordered 2 dinners tonight and everything is cooked hard and unable to eat. Perch fish fried hard. Shrimp small and fried hard. Hush puppies fried hard. Was just horrible!!

Great crispy fried fish special with the lemon pepper seasoning. It can get very busy very fast but overall great service and very hot fresh fish and chicken.
