Meatballs are incredibly tasty as is the whipped cheesecake.
The star is the Detroit Square Pizza. It is without any doubt, the best tasting pizza I’ve had of any variety, anywhere in the World. The crust has a gentle burn around the crispy edges. Sauce is tangy without being acidic and the cheese is the final ingredient to make it all harmonise.

Great Detroit pizza. This is my 3rd out of the 3 pizza place we visit this weekend. Cloverleaf is blah. Not great...Started in 1946, it is a bar and pizza place that prides itself in its family history, I got a small cheese It was good but a little on the well done side didn't put enough sauce so the cheese burned on top forming a burn bubble. Definitely the best priced out of the 3. Service was basic nothing wow.

Went there for a family get together last night. Waitress was all right. Waited about 40 minutes for an overcooked Pizza that I could barely bite through that I ordered for me and my son. Sent it back and got it taken off my bill... My relatives are nicer than me but their Pizza didn't look very good either. With what it cost to dine out nowadays this is unacceptable. Wasted my time and I went home hungry cuz I didn't want to wait for the kitchen another 2 hours. Won't be back.

We had a small party there this evening, an East Detroit, High School Reunion of sorts. Our server was one of the best I've ever had, her service was phenomenal l, the food, of course great as always.

Been going to Cloverleaf since I was a little kid and it still holds up. Went to a dinner with four friends while in town, and despite the waitress seemingly covering the entire restaurant by herself, she never faltered. The food was perfect and cheap too!

Pizza was ok but it seems soft crust on d square pizza, isn't it supposed to be crispy???? Batter shrimp was yummy!!!

I didn't care for their mushrooms that much, didn't look anything like advertised.

Cloverleaf is this first place I go to when I arrive in Detroit. It is my absolute favorite with out question. I am from Tucson Arizona and there is nothing that compares to Cloverleaf. Visiting Detroit would not be the same without a visit or two to Cloverleaf for pizza. All their food is amazing!!!

All around horrible experience. Have been going for years. Let's see it's started with our order.We ordered a vegetarian pizza.We ordered a salad and we.Ordered a side of mushrooms that I asked not to be brought to the table until the pizza came. Well, about 5 minutes after we order. The waitress brings the mushrooms to the table. I said I didn't want them until dinner time. So she took them back. The salad came we ate. The pizza came. The mushrooms came. The mushrooms were the same mushrooms that I had ordered. Originally they must have kept them on a warmer. And when the pizza came it had bacon on it. When I specifically ordered a vegetarian pizza not to mention the countless times that the weight staff bumped into the back of my chair.I must have counted at least twelve times.Not to mention that the pizza was warm at best.Considering what we Paid get it together Cloverleaf.

Service took a while. One kids meal was brought out with appetizers, which were brought out before bread or salad. The second brought out with bread and salad before the pizza.

I played pull tabs. I have pictures of my tabs receipt and the pull tabs themselves. I won $22, they gave me a receipt for and attempted to pay out $17. I had to bring this to the managers attention in order to get the rest of my money.

Ive been here plenty of times, and it had always been great, I'm not sure what happened between the random arrival times of the food from kitchen, but having to chase down my lottery winnings is unacceptable.

Door greeter seated us and we sat for 15 mins without anyone saying hello or greeting us. Left and went to Villa down the street much better service.
