Amazing coffee drinks that actually taste like coffee. They roast a wide selection of beans in-house, perfect for brewing at home. The shop’s ambiance is perfect—moody lighting, jazz playing, with subtle Balkan touches. By far my favorite coffee spot in the entire Detroit metro.

We went here for the first time this morning. 100/10. The caramel coffee drink over ice was the best I’ve had. And the hot almond joy latte was so good. Definitely going back!

A rare gem in the area. Use to come in multiple times a week when I worked nearby. Not only is the coffee exceptional, not only are the beans roasted on-site, not only are there countless options to try, but the goods against the wall are varied and exotic. Heck, if you’re looking for burlap sacks, they’re sold here too. A super cozy environment with plenty of seating. You can tell a lot of love goes into this place. Big shout out to Dashi for creating a relaxing environment worth working and studying in, for dedicating so much of their time to this wonderful place. Coffee Break is a labor of love. You absolutely will not be disappointed coming here.
