I pray they find another location...I'm missing my Mr. Robert's Special and Peach Cobbler
the best soul food restaurant. HANDS DOWN!
worst meatloaf ive had from a soul food joint in a while. full of bread crumbs very little meat
Love the food perfect portions fresh taste even at the close of the business day haven't had a bad dish yet it's my go to after church
The food was good it was my first time at this place but it was just okay.
The mac and cheese wasn't good at all, nor the cornbread. The oxtails and sweet potatoes were ok.
I been eating from M. E Vee's Soul Food for many decades. This location here has the best Sunday Soul Food . When leaving church U can stop here and take a whole old fashioned yam's , collard greens, Turkey and dressing dinner and sweet potato pie for dessert right own home and enjoy as if U or your love one have been in the kitchen the night before preparing for after church meal. And her price is not to great for what I almost sure that U will be glad u stopped in to enjoy.
I love their food

I was so let down by this place. I ordered fried chicken, mac n cheese, greens and kool aid. The chicken was from coney island. The cashier warned me but I still got them because I thought no way, but yeah...coney island wings. The Mac-n-cheese had flavor although a tad too salty and it had nice consistency in between creamy and firm which I would've appreciated if it wasn't due to how oily it was. The Greens were basic and bland which I'm assuming like others have stated is because they were from a can. The Kool - Aid unfortunately was the only redeeming item. After visiting here I know that the only thing they excel in is mixing powder, sugar, and water. My feelings were hurt and I wanted to cry because I was very hungry that day.
The best to me, but my Mere V Special was not cooked correctly. Must be new employeee
This is true soul food, I wanted pork chops but they were out so I had chicken instead, excellent, excellent meal. Great banana pudding too!!!!!! Oops potato salad, the BOMB!!!!!!
The mealoaf , Mac and cheese, and Candie yams were delicious. I will be back to try some of the others food items on the menu.
Long wait at peak time but well worth it!
