how you supposed to order their famous Sweetwater tavern wings when they never answer the phone for 3 days!! they force people to come in and sit there in the parking lot for another 45 minutes to an hour and a half to get your order of chicken wings seriously welcome to the year 2025

Ordered a fried shrimp dinner tonight. Called in my takeout order and had to explain to the staff that my dinner was supposed to come with potatoes. Got to the restaurant and all you smell upon entering is weed. Picked up my food, my salad had tomatoes after I asked for them to be taken off, salad didn't come with any dressing and I never got my potatoes. This is the 2nd time this happened so I won't be back! I suggest you go somewhere else for dinner!

I will be not going back to his place again. The food could be better. I don’t think the cook carries the service sucks. The bartender is slow and really have a conversation with your friends poor sad management. They can’t see it they need to call and John trapper from bar rescue that’s how bad that place is to me. They were good when they first opened up.

I walk in to order my food it’s empty nobody in there I was told there not taking carry out order because the one waitress that’s serving the one person in there refused to take out order. That doesn’t make any sense !!

We waited for over 30 min at the bar for service. One woman gave us menus after 10 minutes and seemed irritated that she even had to do that. It looked like they were in the middle of shift change so we stayed patient. As a career bartender/server I was appalled to see three people just stand around the computer complaining about another employee for the almost 20 min after handing us a menu. We finally left and went somewhere else for food. I was so sad trying to show my boyfriend a Detroit staple. We went to another restaurant with the same amount of people and only one person bartending/serving the whole place and that person was able to handle it. This was so disappointing. I genuinely hope one day we can have a better experience.

Warm coleslaw, old Mac and cheese with dark rock hard noodles, no greens and old lettuce throughout my salad. Server was good but the other employees were having a loud conversation and cussing so unprofessional. Sticky floors I was disgusted by the whole experience place is trash.

Haven't been in years. Never really liked the wings and I worked Downtown Detroit for years but decided to try them again on my way home from class along with the Potato Skins.
Skins were not fresh and had no taste Wings weren't that great either. The inside seems like a nice spot for a Cocktail or to meet up with friends for a afterwork get together though.
Went to downtown location Sunday evening. Took forever to get a server I actually went and found one. She was great her name is Kayhla. She was really friendly but we ordered and after the food came out we were told they were out of the sides we ordered . We never got a refill on drinks. Credit card machine was not working so we were told we had to pay cash or cash app. Who carries cash anymore? And sending cash app directly to server was just awkward. If you are cash only just post that on your door or on the tables. The Catfish was tasty. Never got our sides so I can’t speak on them. They didn’t offer any discount for the trouble. Not in a rush to go back

It’s well known for wings and has several meat based entrées, including short ribs, chicken tenders burgers, and of course wings. The wings can be a little heavy with the seasoning. Otherwise, it’s a place to say that you’ve been at least there once.

The food was over priced but good. The atmosphere was horrible, a very large, loud and obnoxious party ruined our dining experience. We weren't the only one to notice this and will never be coming back. Management should have done something, the place seemed less of a restaurant and more like a rowdy bar.

I got wings, fries and mozzarella sticks. The wings aren’t too bad, even for somebody who cooks a lot with charcoal. and likes smoked foods, I thought the wings had pretty excessive char, seasoning was good, sauce on them was good, chicken wasn’t dry. 3/5 the fries though, I was kind of disappointed. because they could be better with just a bit more cook time. they’re like thicker more seasoned McDonald’s fries, just limp not much else to say about them. 3/5 mozzarella sticks were cool, and I showed up right in the timeframe I was told they’d be ready, and tried one before I left the cheese had cooled down, so it wasn’t very melty but taste wise they are good. 4/5 I also had the buffalo sauce which was surprisingly different than most and pretty good. 4.5/5 ranch was good not too runny and full of flavor. 5/5 the bbq sauce though, was terrible me and my girlfriend both agreed… tastes just like school cafeteria bbq sauce 0/5 staff was friendly and respectful! 5/5
