Sweetwater Wings
Chicken wings are what we do best. Marinated 24 hours, our wings are full of flavor without too much heat. We have won dozens of awards - Best Wings in Detroit HOUR MAGAZINE five years running. Best Wings in Detroit METRO TIMES, Best Wings in the State of Michigan 2018 MLIVE - WJR, Top 20 Placement in the US THRILLSEEKER, to name a few. We sell 15,000 lbs. weekly between four locations and our food truck so we are not alone in liking them. We Serve approximately 1 - 1/2 pounds of wings (weight before frying) which is about nine or ten wings depending on the size. Wings are served with a choice of bleu cheese or ranch and celery sticks - enjoy.
The Big Pig
Sweetwater's own pulled pork sandwich is tender pork, slow cooked in spices, and pulled from the bone. We then mix the pork with our special sauce and pile it high on a kaiser roll - kind of sweet with a hint of bbq served with a slice of onion and cole slaw.

It’s well known for wings and has several meat based entrées, including short ribs, chicken tenders burgers, and of course wings. The wings can be a little heavy with the seasoning. Otherwise, it’s a place to say that you’ve been at least there once.

I got wings, fries and mozzarella sticks. The wings aren’t too bad, even for somebody who cooks a lot with charcoal. and likes smoked foods, I thought the wings had pretty excessive char, seasoning was good, sauce on them was good, chicken wasn’t dry. 3/5 the fries though, I was kind of disappointed. because they could be better with just a bit more cook time. they’re like thicker more seasoned McDonald’s fries, just limp not much else to say about them. 3/5 mozzarella...

Food was decent, not like downtown. Service was great, but it was hot as heck in the restaurant. I had to hurry and leave due to the lack of AC. O, AND THE PRICE FOR THE POTATOE SKINS was wild 10 bucks for 4 of them. Ugh I will stick to the downtown location.
