Great bar. I love to get the shot "lemon drop" and "flaming doctor pepper" but there are a lot more. I also love to order the chicken tenders with fries. You can play on their pool table and play darts.

don't go by the hours and days they are open they are inconsistent..when I go to a bar I expect it to be open the hours and days they state but you can go there at any given time or day and find the doors locked ..what a surprise people go elsewhere !
I was visiting Detroit the same weekend as the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight and was having a hard time finding a place in the city that was showing it...and if I did hear of a place, it was in the suburbs with a $30 cover. Yeah, I'm not about that life. My boyfriend then suggests, "Why don't you Yelp a Filipino restaurant and see if they're showing the fight". So I did. I don't remember the name of the original restaurant I called but the owner told me they weren't open for the fight BUT to check out his bar on the 8 Mile and Gratiot Ave called Waterfalls Bar and Grill. Also, cover was $10, which was waaaay better than the few places I've found. The place is a no-frills joint. Don't expect lounge chairs and that bougie stuff...but the place does feel homely with tables, chairs, and Christmas lights lining the walls. The $10 we paid covered self serve lechon (roasted pig), pancit (so good!), rice and a jello shot before the game started. Drinks are also reasonably priced here too. Even though the fight was nothing exciting, at least the food, drinks and people were great. After the fight, I had a quick chat with the owner to thank him for telling us about the place. It turns out that they often show fights here. If I happen to be in town during another fight, I'll come back here. FYI: They don't have a website but you can find more info on their facebook page:
