I love this place. I recently moved to the area and this place is my go to. Everyone is super friendly. They have Specials everyday. Tbh best prices of any restaurant these days. I love the chicken and pizzas. all hamburgers are a half pound. Oh man getting hungry just thinking about it. I don't really drink or I'm sure I'd be telling you about all the great drink specials as well. If your in the area check them out

Made reset a couple weeks back. Took a group of about 25- in this weekend and it was only the owner and one waitress (Carrie) but they busted but to serve us very good food and drink promptly and with a smile!!

The worst steak I've ever had in my life We arrived and they did not have the rib dinner at 5:30 in the afternoon out of stock how can you run a restaurant and not have the special at 530 for dinner.

Do not pass the Hitching Post! BEST chicken wings we've had, ever, hands down. Truly exceptional. Fresh, plump, JUICY with a variety of sauces to choose from. Innovative flavors, all delicious. Pizza was wonderful, fries and onion rings crispy & perfectly cooked. You can't go wrong here. Service was great, super friendly in a great atmosphere for enjoying cocktails, beer & beverages. This will be a must-stop anytime we are in this area. Highly recommend!
Came here on a Sunday afternoon with family for the lions game and some food. And what an abysmal experience it was. Besides the decent atmosphere and the drink specials nothing else positive to say. Food was tasteless and cold. Coney dog was so cold we asked to reheat it and were responded with “yea i guess i can reheat it in the microwave but not sure what to tell you thats all i can do” How about remake it?5 minutes later we got it back microwaved with nothing said just walked away. Coney dog sauce was awful.One of the chicken dinners was forgot about when ordering and after waiting 30 minutes when 3-4 of us finished our dinner they had it "to go" to eat it at home and we STILL got charged for it, the least they could’ve done. Couldn’t even write off a ten dollar dinner that they made the mistake on and one person couldn’t even eat with us. But they didn’t miss much because chicken was okay it just existed but the mashed potatoes and gravy were disgusting and cold, tasted fake, lumpy, and had flavorless gravy. Threw it out when we got home.“Come try us again” that was laughable, absolutely no chance. Overall 0/10 recommend would never come back. Spend your money somewhere else.

Birthday party I ordered food and they said they're a hamburger and corn. Beef cost me over $23. Also I told them it was bad and overdried. And they refuse to return it then they set. My car declined I had over $2000 credit. On my car and also $3000 on my card. They said a decline, so they ended up charging. My bill on my friends account without even saying anything. Cause they said I walked away. When I was going to go get my purse for another quarter? The older lady who works there is very rude And just respectful if I was you go to any bar besides hitch in post. Iived in lapeer for years and it was the worst bar that I ever went to in this county. Sense, there's old lady of solar road. The waitresses don't tell you the full story. I had to get the tables orders and go get them. Because waiter service was not available. Turn around and find a new place to go. They do have their favorites, and they favortizame
