I live in Charlevoix and visit Friske's several times each year. The food and products are always high quality.
This review, however, is about the service... the people that work there during the extremely busy times and slow... It doesn't matter the time of year or the number of patrons in the building, the service is outstanding. Absolutely the most polite, helpful, well trained staff I have ever experienced. ALWAYS polite.... courteous and respectful. Always.
I have no clue how Friske's makes that happen, particularly since they must hire temporary help at times. It is amazing to experience though, refreshing and appreciated.

Friske’s Farm Market has quickly become one of our favorite stops in the area! They offer so many delicious things to try, from fresh market items to amazing bakery treats. The baked goods are creative and always taste incredible, and the coffee is easily the best in the area.
The food in the attached restaurant is also excellent, making it a perfect spot to grab a meal and pick up some local favorites to take home.

If you buy the baked goods, save them for the next day. We went into the cafe and ordered a pizza. It was served at the perfect temperature, the cheese was creamy and gooey, while the vegetable toppings were fresh.

Huge grocery that is all about apples, cherries and more. Jams, jellies, popcorn, pies, salsa, chips. Food, bakery items, snacks and fresh fruits like apples too. Jewelry and skincare too. The donuts are scrumptious. Support these local businesses especially in the fall and winter.

It is a beautiful shopping center. But I liked the old store better. I don't think of a Farmer's Market when you go in there. It is a nice store just very pricey. 😊
This place is fall time magic! I would drive across the state just for one of their cookies and an apple slush. Browse around the fun country store offerings to find the perfect gift, get orchard fresh apples, but whatever you do, don't leave without a cookie! The cookies are massive, chewy, rich and worth every penny!

We hadn't been here for a couple of years. Was surprised of the remodel. Liked the look. Did a really nice job. Maybe lost a little of the intimacy by going big, but understand the need. The only downside was their pricing. Way above the norm. We came for the spy apples, not too many places have these.

This place is the epitome of fall!! Beautiful market, mouth-watering bakery desserts, apples everywhere you look. Reasonable prices, and they have one of the best PSL I’ve ever had!! Fantastic place for kids/families.

I was at Friske's fri.17,nice place.Bought some donuts,which were fresh and delicious.I also bought a cherry crumb pie,which had the weirdest flavor.The filling tasted like soap, the crust was good .What's up with that?
