Hats off to the staff of The front porch. I was in there today for their Christmas meal. And what an awesome meal it was. I felt like family in there. What a great place, Bob Gustafson.

We stopped in for pie and coffee. If you like pie and coffee, you’ll be VERY happy here. We had the strawberry-rhubarb and the raspberry pies. The strawberry-rhubarb was very good but slightly over sweetened for my taste and without a strong underlying flavor to make it go. The raspberry pie also sweet but had a raspberry punch that made it an excellent pie. All the pies are made on-premise by the way. The coffee, while not gourmet, stands up well to the pie.

What a great little spot! Homemade food served by such friendly people, in a great small town! It's a "suggested donation" restaurant with proceeds going to local charities. I felt like I was in Mayberry & I LOVED IT!
