Short staffed. We weren't allowed to have menus until one of the two other tables were done using them. Then, we couldn't order until one other table got their food. It is what it is, but worth considering when planning your time out.
I went here frequently 40 years ago before leaving the area. Ownership has changed hands many times since then. This was my first experience with the new owners, and I was not disappointed. The owner was our waiter and was very friendly. Our food was delivered surprisingly quickly and was amazing!
They still have pool tables and a band, which the Nugget is famous for on a Saturday night. The band was a two piece and were really good. The clientele is younger than years...

A classic "dive" bar. That's not a dig, it's a reflection of the charm the place has and the food. Only complaint is that the fries and onions rings could either cook or drain just a little bit longer, but that didn't stop us from gobbling them
