We ate breakfast here on our trip north last summer and wanted to try dinner tonight. It was excellent. In fact, we came back two nights later because it was that good. The first night my husband had the ribeye and it was so tender and flavorful. Tonight he had the country fried steak and said it was the best he’s ever had-gravy was excellent, too. He only needed a fork to cut it. I had the Texas chicken sandwich twice because it was so good. We started with crab rangoon and YUM!! Service was great! This has risen to one of our favorite Michigan restaurants!

What a gem. First time here. Had 16oz Ribeye. Cooked to perfection. Excellent seasoning, seared crisp outside, and tender perfectly cooked medium rare inside. I've paid double at steakhouses that didn't taste as good as this ribeye. Waitress was very pleasant and professional.

Stopped in after bird hunt... very satisfying and worth the drive! Fresh, well made food, nice folk. Had the meatloaf with mashed and asparagus, all terrific. Enough for another lunch.

Accidentally stumbled on this establishment…and I’m in love! The food - the best omelet I have ever had - best bloody Mary ever - service was like small home town vibes. Will be back again-and-again!!! My new favorite breakfast spot for sure!!
Update: I loved it so much I came back the next day for lunch. The trifecta burger was out of this world. We ordered the Poutine, chicken wings, perogies…basically the entire menu. It’s all so good!!! Like delicious - beyond!!!

There was no cheesecake on the menu when I was there. *sad face* There are some cute things on the walls. I'm sure they will keep adding more to spruce it up. The bar was clean.
My food was okay. Unfortunately, I didn't leave thinking it was great. I had an appetizer and a side of sweet potato fries. Custom ordered a martini from the list of liquors available, as that's what I was given when I asked for a cocktail menu. It looks like it's a basic bar, not specialized in anything in particular.
All in all I spent almost $30 on lunch. If there were more options in the area I'd try a different place. I just didn't get that wow factor some of these other reviewers had. Maybe because I stopped in at lunch time instead of dinner.
