Tried this place for the first time and food was amazing! I had the perch which was flaky, breading and texture was spot on. The coleslaw was pretty great too. They also carry Vernors like a true Michigan restaurant. Gf had the beer brat and a margarita and was glad they don't use the margarita mix. One of the best marg she's had. Absolutely recommend this place!

We have had a home in northern Michigan for 15 years and have been coming up for more than 20 years. We had driven by this restaurant hundreds of times! Well- we finally made a point to have dinner there. The food was probably the best we’ve had up here in a very long time! I had babyback ribs that were perfection! My husband had the Cuban sandwich which was also outstanding. We shared a vanilla raspberry cake dessert that was also very good. They make everything in house and it is a cozy place. It may seem a bit out of the way - unless you’re like us and on the way to someplace else.we highly recommend this great new find!
And btw - writing a review is not something I am known for. It has to be superb or a complete failure to get me to take the time for this. This one is superb!

Very quaint lil place. We rented an Air BnB for the weekend and came to Forx for breakfast. It did not disappoint. Hubby got the cornbeef and hash with a side of pancakes. I got the potato pancakes with a side of eggs. Portion size was generous. Food was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent. I highly recommend coming here even if you are just passing through.

Husband and I stopped at Forx- great food, people, and atmosphere. The majority of everything is homemade, and trust me you can taste the quality. We had the potato pancakes with all 3 sauces (the homemade apple and horsey sauce are 🔥), sausage benedict (scrumptous), and gorgonzola burger. We will absolutely be going back to Forx whenever we are in the area. 10000% recommend.
I would come back to this establishment. The pancake was good. The potato pancakes were good with maybe too generous grind of the pepper. Our server did a nice job of being concerned about our wellbeing.

Finally checked this place out and was very pleasantly surprised...Their food was outstanding...The bourbon selection was vast and the decor was awesome. They have poutine and they do it right..you cannot find this dish anywhere up north. The service was on point...I am putting this on the list of one of our regular spots to go out to. Elmira isn't much of a town, but but it's got 2 of the best restuarants around. Worth the drive...They even have live music now and then...Check it out - Awesome!

Gem hidden in plain sight! Food was AMAZING! Service was friendly and quick. Best batter on onion rings I've ever had. THE Reuben was LOADED with meat and dripping with delicious sauce. Funky, eclectic interior. Definitely worth a trip!
