This is an absolutely wonderful and homey coffee shop. This is the equivalent to cheers bar, but a coffee house! I no longer live in Michigan, but I am thrilled for Elsie that this exists.

I love the atmosphere of this little coffee shop. It’s very cozy like your visiting your granny’s kitchen. Every baked good I have had I loved but my favorite is the hand pies and cake. Would definitely recommend.

ok now, I gave all 5 stars because you just can't find places like this. It's a little hole in the wall place. It has great, friendly people. It has good coffee, they even have a cappuccino machine now! And they have a small menu of simple breakfasts.Delicious options. Real comfort foods!Rustic charm, all the way.

I had a Ham and Swiss Panini and let me tell you that was absolutely delicious, it really hit the spot! The atmosphere was homey and the people are beyond kind! I highly recommend going in and trying the array of items offered!

I placed an order before Thanksgiving for a peanut butter sheet cake, a cinnamon roll cake and buckeyes. The cinnamon roll cake was a huge hut Thanksgiving morning. Peanut butter sheet cake is my favorite so I made sure I saved a couple of pieces for myself. I'm a truck driver and wanted to be able to cherish the buckeyes and my couple of pieces of cake when I got back on the road so I put them in single serve freezer containers. Both the cake and buckeyes freeze well and it's wonderful to have a delicious homemade treat out on the highway!

Visited the Chesaning location to try the biscuits and gravy......all I have to say is DELICIOUS! The biscuits were fresh and soft and unlike many other gravies, it was not overpowered with pepper. I bought a cherry bar for later too! Highly recommend!
